For Sale:
Little Dot I+ Hybrid Amplifier with Tube and Op-amp bundle

Will Ship To: CONUS

Hello,

I'm selling my nearly 3 year old Little Dot I+, it's in great condition. I used it for nearly a year before I upgraded and ever since then it was either in storage or very lightly used. I am the original owner, and the amp comes from a pet-free and smoke-free environment. I'm selling because I'm no longer interested in tubes and I need the cash to fund my future upgrade, the new Audio-gd  NFB-27. biggrin.gif All of the tubes and op-amps I have were all recommended in the Little Dot I+ Tube Rolling thread and appear throughout the thread.

I would really like to sell this as a bundle so I don't have to deal with all the shipping, etc. It comes with the stock op-amp (MC33078P) and tubes (6JI), as well extra jumpers/screws and 3.5mm to RCA that it originally came with. I am only selling within CONUS for $SOLD, includes shipping + paypal fees. Sorry, but I'm not interested in trades.

Bundle:

Tubes:

Mullard M8083

Mullard M8161

Sylvania GB408A with gold pins

Mullard M8100/CV4010

Op-amps:

LME49720

LT1364

LM4562

OPA2107 (currently installed)

CAIG DeOxIT D100 (essentially full, only used to apply once on each of the non-stock tubes)

I bought all non-stock tubes as NOS matched pairs from highly rated sellers on ebay

Thanks!

How many hours on the amp? How many hours on the Sylvania GB408A tubes? Mostly concerned about the tubes.

I should have stated something about that, thanks for reminding me. To be honest, I did not record exactly how many hours I used on the amp and tubes but I'll provide a worst-case set of hours I probably used on them.

Tubes:                                                  Worst-case total usage (hours):

Mullard M8083....................................              ~900

Mullard M8161....................................              ~300

Sylvania GB408A with gold pins.............              ~40

Mullard M8100/CV4010.......................               ~300

And the amp will just be the summation of that: ~1540 hours

I used the Sylvania GB408A the least, as that was the last pair of tubes I bought for the amp at a time when I barely listened to it. I just so happened to finally see it up on ebay one day and bought it impulsively since I've heard how great it was and since it was so hard to find. Also I pretty much never used the stock tube (6JI), maybe a total of 2 hours at most. But again, this is a worst-case estimate of how many hours are on the tubes.

Does long usage of the tubes decrease it's performance? Just wanted to know why the concern?

From my understanding, typically a tube can last for over 5000 hours. Of course if the tubes start to decreases in performance it is probably at the end of its life whether it's due to usage, leak in the vacuum, or etc. But it's not like the performance constantly decreases as you use it, only when it's about to die.
