Well my Fiio L3 crapped out, are more expensive line out's worth it?

Well I want one with the wire connected not like the ibasso and send station (idk why I might give in and get one).

 

I have been looking at ALO's but what is the difference, they have a LOD, a cryo LOD, a SXC, a SXC cryo???

 

Apparently its $60 to go from 22gau to 18gau? And what difference does SXC make? I think the best one from reading the description is the cheapest $85 one.

Any one? LOD advice?

 

Now I have been looking at quables and they seem really reasonable in there pricing, all but there solid gold wire is under $150.

 

But is silver really better than copper? I know there is pure copper then OFC, then HOFC, with annealed copper being the best, but if silver is even better why don't more audiophile company's use it vs. OFC or annealed copper? Sure it costs a little more but nothing like gold.

Honestly, I thik the Fiio LODs are pretty well made and a handsome value for what it is.  If an aftermarket is indeed worth it depends on your personal preference. Personally I do feel that an LOD that uses a quality cable makes  diffence.

Well I haven't even had my Fiio 3 months and it sounds different when I wiggle it so its gota go.

I can't blind test good quality LODs apart, so personally I don't think it matters. It's a different story for crappy imitation $2 LODs off eBay though.

Does anyone make a solid core copper LOD? All the silvers are solid but then the copper is tiny stranted
