Why? I said it was totally unrelated. Besides, you already bought the plane ticket. And considering today's kerosine prices that ticket must've cost more than all your gear together.
Train connections from Berlin to Düsseldorf suck, that would take the better part of a day. Plus flying's actually cheaper, I'm paying approx. EUR 150 roundtrip plus EUR 30 max for the Düsseldorf-Heerlen train connection (which Ultrazino and I can probably split too).
btw, I've updated the gear list. I'm not too keen on carrying desktop source/amp gear unless there's something in my headfi profile that somebody absolutely insists on trying. The security guys at TXL are gonna have a field day checking my luggage anyway.
I've always wanted to try the S:Flo2. I know it's flawed but still... Could you bring it? I'm not insisting but, you know.
The s:flo's not exactly desktop equipment, so yeah, I guess I can bring it. Have you seen my pictures on fb though. The screen has a major crack. It's still working, but it ain't purdy.
Well, I happened to find someone today who was thinking of selling his Fiio E7, he was just not too sure about it. Maybe I can talk him into it. But would the Fiio E7 classify as good enough?
The E7 would not be my first choice. Not that it's bad, but the E7s line in can't handle the line out of my S:Flo2. Not to mention that I already have one, but I prefer to keep it at home with my E9.
Right now I have little choice, I need to use my E7 as my on the go laptop dac too, as my iBasso D2+ won't work with my laptop for some weird reason. But that is far from ideal. It happened to me on multiple occasions that I had a nice evening of music listening planned, only to find out that I had left my E7 in the office.
Is it allowed to sell equipment at the meet? I'll be bringing some stuff that I want to sell afterwards to finance the IE800.
