Interested.

 

No idea yet what I'll bring. I promissed myself that the last meet would be the last time for me to lug 15+kg of gear around. (Bedenken will ich's: wer weiß, was ich tu.)

Re-confirming myself if this will be on Sunday. Saturday will be very very tough.

Haha, well I don't think any traders will be showing up.

The plan is to have one spring or summer next year as well, but then bigger. This is an informal meet. But with the current list of gear I think it's already going to be pretty epic.

I have a suggestion for a location, but if it's bad for others then it's a no.

We could rent a room at the Uithof in Utrecht. (The Uithof is the main campus of the University of Utrecht). The prices are really low, and the rooms are pretty good. If I can manage to rent the room 'internally' then it'd cost about €30 for an entire day. Otherwise it's <€300 for an entire day. Additionally it's easy to get there both by car and public transport. It's also very convenient for me personally in organizing it, since I'm studying at the University of Utrecht. Meaning I can check out the size of the rooms really easily.

However, they say that renting a room on Saturday or Sunday costs extra. And there's a chance you're only allowed to use the rooms for University related activities as well. I'll ask tomorrow.

Yep, that's the right place.

I know it's not the most convenient place for everyone. But please understand that it's extremely convenient for me, the organizer.
This is my first time doing something like this, so it being convenient for me personally would be very nice.

By car it's only one hour by car from e.g. Tilburg or Eindhoven, which is around where we originally planned to hold the meet.
If anyone has a better suggestion, please go right ahead.

That's not that bad.

A good friend of mine lives 1.30 hours by public transport from the Uithof, and he does it every single day. (He lives in Delft, by the way)
