Anyone into car audio?

Hey everyone! I just turned 16 and bought a car, and i'm thinking about getting new speakers for them since the stock ones are horrible.. frown.gif Anyways, i'm hoping to keep the price under 300 dollars. Thanks in advance! If the model of the car matters, its a 2004 Subaru outback.

Go to Crutchfield.com, you can enter the model of your car and they will tell you what fits without modification, give you specific instructions if you buy, and they have all levels of speakers from factory replacements on up.

Hmm, thats the sight i've been surfing for the past hour or so. I couldn't really find that many speakers that fit my car so i found a pair at soniceletronix. Anyone have experience with them?

Anyways, the two things i've been looking at are these:

and

Anyone have experience with any of these?

Nope, I went Sony, Rockford-Fosgate, and Bazooka on my 1997 Legacy GT.

Sonic Electronix and Crutchfield are both reputable and great places to deal with, never had a bad experience with either of them.

Id suggest heading over to Caraudio.com/forums. You will get much better help on a dedicated forum.
