Do gold or silver matter like cables?

 

Also, does anyone know a good 3.5mm to 1/4 trs adapter that's not like 400$ that sounds great to exceptional

For a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter, your best bet would be to pick a gold plated one up on eBay for $1.

I second that.  The solid metal, generic mini to 1/4" adapter can't be improved upon.  It has no wire, it's as direct of a connection as they come.

i have 3 adaptors at home, came with diff cans/amps  i bought....i hear sonic differences from each.

Thrown away another one that i tot was BADDDD....
