Hello, Please can you advice me which headphones are recommended for uplifing trance genre? It's trance combined and changing with soundtrack passages. Nicce emotional, epic trance music. Piano, viola, etc...

here is example ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m0IOw9L2ZQ

I have some candidates:

Beyerdynamic DT 440

Beyerdynamic DT 860

Grado SR60i

Grado SR80i

Seenheiser HD 25

OR?

I will use it with PC (Creative soundcard Audigy 2ZS, X-fi,...) and android phone (Sony Xperia P) - so better with lower impedance.

Price up to 180-200 $.

Now Im using Koss Porta Pro.

Thanks a lot.

I personally don't know to much in the headphone world, but I think something that might help you is if you give a bit more detail about what you want out of the headphones in your initial post. You already commented on your genre of choice, but is there anything following that you'd be using them for? IE: Rock, Dub, Rap or even possibly Gaming. Another thing is are you looking for on-ear only, over-ear only, or open to suggestions for both? Open or Closed cans? (Open from my understanding leaks a lot of noise but has a better sound signature to some people while closed is more for isolation). Portability, do you like them to be easily able to transport (something like a carrying case and folding up) or does it matter to you? This can help people narrow down what you look for and try to help you out better.

Electronic music - Uplifting trance - I think better bass is required, but I don't want any bass extrem. For home usage only for music without games. Open/Closed cans - it does not matter. Semi-open ? :)

AT-Ax00 series may be worth a look.
