Crackling in Apple Lossless with UM3X

Hi guys, I have imported my CDs via apple lossless ever since Ive gotten my UM3x, but some tracks still have the same crackling effect in the highs like when you produce the S sound. Im using an iPod Classic 160gb bought in 2010, and no Amp no DAC.

Can you reproduce this sound error with another set of IEMs?

I experienced this with my UM-1s before, that led me to the upgrade of the UM3x. Is the problem with my CDs?

It could be...

 

Or it could be the pc that your are ripping with.

 

I have had this type of problem with a slower pc. I then switched to a faster pc, reripped, and the distortion is gone.

Thanks for the advice, Im using a portable CD Drive on my laptop, does that affect? I might try it with my desktop later on.

It might be a problem of bad mastering too. I sometimes encounter crackling when listening to some music.
