Why would anyone be using VGA in this day and age? (Unless you have one of those classic Sony Tritiion CRTs). DVI or Displayport ftw.

Hmm... Does your monitor support lower refresh rates, and if it does, have you tried lowering it?

EDIT: Or even try raising it a few Hz. Just for kicks I tried 1440x900 at 59Hz, and it worked, then my super-resolution at 59Hz, and it didn't work. But then I took that resolution and raised it to 61Hz and it worked.

Or, does your video card have multiple DVI-Outs? Might be worth it to see if switching the output would change anything.

I'm clearly not pitching golden ideas here, but maybe the problem is just stupid enough for a stupid solution.

Kirosia is running DVI->VGA due to his Samsung CRT. He plans on buying a new monitor when the Dell U3013 is released and most of the bugs are worked out (and it goes on notable discount).

Can you see the versions of the screens not compressed by Head-fi of your phone? They're pretty incredible IMO. I might upload a few PNG versions later, though, since it gets even better. And it looks better, still, in motion, since the jaggies seem to almost completely disappear. At least the small jaggies that like to shimmer do.

Yeah, someone on Neogaf mentioned why, and I just noticed it after they said it. For whatever reason the game uses a low-res blur filter on distant objects, so it can create big jaggies on power lines and stuff. Here's a full-sized version of one of the screens I posted to show what I mean.

Once the power line is a certain distance from the screen, it picks up those large jaggies. But like I said, since they're big, in motion they don't shimmer, so they aren't noticeable.

The E12 is a fair bit bigger than I expected. Are those 6.3mm jacks?

Q701 stock cable is terminated with 3.5mm TRS. It has a screw on 6.3 though.

Hmm. That's quite disappointing. I wanted a portable amp with 6.3mm support.
