I notice the low resolution textures when the screens are blown up, but when downsized to my native resolution of 1440x900 they look fine. I think the game does look good though, the lighting is pretty nice, and character models are great.

It's just the fact they didn't even try and release a nicer looking version for the PC. DA2 at least had a HD texture patch. Some of the textures in ME3 were from ME1, where they were much higher res. I can't run ME3 or ME2 without texmods.

ME3 has vsync auto enabled and the switch is hidden in the ini settings since it's an almost straight console port.

IF you can't run ENB series, then SweetFX does a similar job with a much lower overhead. I use it for Dragonage:Origins(because ENB isn't noticeable on there)

I did the same for AC3 as well

Didn't matter to me. ME3 never budged from 60 FPS thoughout the entire game. I dropped vsync for multiplayer though.

But yes, I do need one. I'm not going for big and loud this time though. I've realized that I prefer it more quiet. And 6 loud 12cm fans really......don't...make things nice.

I got by the saying, "If I can hear it. It's too loud". The radiator cooling my i5 is so much overkill that I can just have the pump running, turn all the fans off and have my CPU cooled semi-passively. :)

Wow, running Borderlands 2 in high resolution brings graphics from "good looking" to "scrumptious".

This resolution is none too kind to my CPU with this game. Runs at like 20FPS. Doesn't matter if I use 8xAA or none, so that's about as definitive as it gets what's causing the framerate drops. I might just leave it like this though, since it's actually kind of playable, and all I have to do in this game now is mop up a few last missions. I'm invincible, so poor control response ain't going to kill me.

I'm just using good ol' vanilla. Wasn't sure there were any mods. I did manage to get the game to run at 30FPS by running it at 1920x1200, though.

This downscaling stuff is all sorts of awesome. I think next I might put Mirror's Edge on and see how that looks. At 1440x900 it always had oodles of jaggies, even with 8xAA, so it'll be interesting to see if I can remove the last traces of them.

Mirror's Edge or Saints Row does?

Ah, yeah, sounds about right. You're using a Phenom II aren't you? I know they aren't all that different from Athlon IIs, and open world games like this are crazy tough on the CPU.

Speaking of which, I might have to reinstall Far Cry 3 to see if it'll run at this resolution. Not freaking likely, but it might be neat to see!

EDIT: Bottoms out at 15FPS, usually gets about 25FPS. Not really playable. Weak. I got jumped by some fools, and didn't really have a chance to take any screenshots, so believe it or not, I won't be posting any screenshots for now.
