PC Enthusiast-Fi (PC Gaming/Parts/Overclocking) - Page 238

lots and lots of pictures.... The new case looks really nice (especially compared to that old ugly thing.)  What's the name of it? All that rad room up top looks really appealing to me (sorry if you posted it but I couldn't find it in the wall of pictures and posts before that)

Corsair Carbide 300R.

Rad room? My physical room or the case?

Thanks. I guess your room is rad (especially up top... by the ceiling?) but the radiator room in the case looks very generous.

EDIT: oh yeee $70 on new egg and it has water cooling gaskets in the perfect spot as well and a nice space for fans on the side (xfired 7970s will be very happy)

yeah, the 300R has a tiny bit of space on the top of the case(outside) with a little 'indent' in it for a radiator option.

The all in one liquid's work very well as well :D Have a dual fan 120mm system in place :D

Can't wait to add the crossfire in.

but man, 290X is loud? The 7870 Reference(closed design) on 100% fan is already a leafblower!!!!

No, it's a cheap Fury powder coated trainer. Benchmades are $$$.

The Spyderco Spyderfly looks feeling sick though.

I built a PC with that case before... It was $30 shipped and came with a free fracking dvd burner! It was the the greatest deal ever! biggrin.gif

Haha, I didn't mean that the one you had was the Benchmade. Sadly I can only get trainers, or dinky little ones. These laws on blade length suck.

I posted my "system" Yazen.

So my friend received his Prodigy in the mail 2 days ago. It has some pretty nice fans: a 140mm in the front and a 120mm exhaust, and the rear mount also supports a 140mm. I plan on getting him 1, just 1 other fan. Any recommendations? The airflow won't be restricted much, 1 HDD, a Radeon 7870, and possibly a Cooler Master GeminII S524 (maybe).

I haven't dipped into fans yet but I always hear nice things about Noctua

I'm trying to use as minimal fans as possible. Everything in my system is working well and doesn't require too much airflow. Closed air design GPU's, AIO Liquid and front fans along with not too hot components make it so I don't have to use too many

My 240GB SSD came in today.

I will be installing Windows 8.1 all brand new. I'm using my Univ OS. Enterprise versions of 8 don't get in system upgrade to 8.1 unless system admin makes it availble. Ours did, however only through a new 8.1 Windows iso download on our student page so I'm gonna use that.

My current OS has a few problems and glitches already. It's actually still quite fast but a few things have problems so whatever :/

I won't be installing Windows new onto the SSD tomorrow or even be using it until I get my new motherboard in. As the OS install does have to do with motherboards (chipsets, storage format etc)

2-3 more days :gs1000smile:

And yes, in case you're wondering, that's my butterfly knife in front of my headphone stand. Hopefully, these pictures aren't too grainy. (Stupid iPhone...)

Looks really nice, congrats!  I like the table, looks a lot better than I imagined.

Headphone stand is a nice touch as well.

I think iPhones take good photos, except when compared to lets say the Nokia 808 or a 3/4s.

Nokia 808:  (Had to scale down in MSPaint to allow upload haha)

Thanks, my dad was like, "You should get a headphone stand, maybe you could make one, we have copper tubes." Sizzle sizzle sizzle... Boom, stand complete. Anyway, what's with the "For Rent"?
