The graphics on Bioshock are so dated it hard for me to get sucked into the game like I once was. The lack of clutter, piss-poor textures, and any foliage there is looks like it's made of plastic. It really detracts from the experience.
I had a problem in B1 with audio stuttering, crackling issues.

It may have been just me and my equipment and incompatability but if it happens to you as well. Let me know

I had the same issue as well. It would really get bad if there was a radio playing on the game, plus the soundtrack, plus a character talking, plus a weapon/plasmid firing.

Slate magazine describes Bioshock Infinite well Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
BioShock Infinite wants to be deep and philosophical, but it’s just one big hail of bullets.

It's only the end where it gets funky. The rest is good. If the end had more player input and branching choice(possibly sprinkled throughout the game as well) it'd be sublime. As it is, it's excellent, but not outstanding.

Got bored and decided to do a runthrough of the first portion of Infinite to grab screenshots before uninstalling it.

It's pretty funny seeing the barbershop quartet singing The Beach Boys's God Only Knows.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

It's funny hearing songs from the 60's coming from time rifts. I nearly crapped my pants when I heard "Fortunate Son" by CCR.

This.

OPENGL + LINUX FTW!

Seriously. There was a Windows vs Linux OpenGL FPS benchmark somebody did and Linux pulled around 2x more frames per second than windows.

@Kukuk

Ahaha. Barber quartets...

But the "game" that benchmark was done on was highly optomized for open gl.

The article on it said that most games wont be seeing such support or efficency with open gl.

Very few PC non indie games use OGL. OGL was sort of popular back in the days of the ATi X800XL and Nvida 7800GTX. It's mostly restricted to 3D/animation preview windows now.

I'm aware. I'm just not that happy with Microsoft being a bit of a dick with DirectX because IIRC they threatened to remove OpenGL support in Windows if developers didn't use DirectX. Then again, I could be wrong.

Which reminds me of why the Xbox is called the Xbox and the relation to the old Direct X logo

The Xbox is named the 'X' Box as it was a Direct 'X' Box.

And the Direct X logo as it was back in the old ways looks like a nuclear icon?

Well, back when Direct X was starting, they nicknamed it. The 'Manhattan' project as it was a project that would hopefully 'win' the war for them after destroying their Japanese game makers. (they hoped this wouldn't get out, thankfully it didn't create a media storm for them).

Been messing around a bit with Nvidia Inspector. Using it, I was able to get AA on Dishonored. The settings I'm using are 4xMSAA, 4xSGSS. Image quality is absolutely gorgeous, but it's just shy of being able to run like this.

Look at those freaking grates, man.

Right click the thumbnail and open in new window.

Now that I think about it, I think I'm running Supersampling... In Supersampling.
