Yeah, It's pretty sad considering the HTPC is a lot smaller and cost a lot less...

Been playing Mirror's Edge at 1080p. So like, that's good.

Mirror's edge isn't a hard game to run or to look good due to it's color pallete. Textures usually make it highly noticeable about how "good" a game looks but with the solid shapes and solid colors, it hides it nicely.

Yeah, Mirror's edge also uses a lot of bumpmaps to simulate detail, which aren't hard to render at all next to increased geometry.

I wish they made a Mirror's Edge 2. I would play the hell out of it.

I have yet to play it, so I'm trying to avoid any bias and play it. I'll probably end up hating it like I did with halo 4 LOL!

Already know exactly what I want, but thanks anyway. :D

I think so too. All those RTS games as well. Although many games today work better on console as they spent more time on it. For example Dishonored and Skyrim. Controls work well but the closeness of the controller and the time the team spent on getting the experience right on the controller mattered more than the PC.

Really? Not me. I couldn't aim if my life depended on it after I got back on controller. I used to do pretty well. Top 1/3 of matches. Nothing too special but nice. Now. I couldn't aim for my life. It always went off spot or went somewhere else. Which got me to thinking why I always find so much ammo in games these days when on the PC, I barely use 10% of it before finding some more. While on console, I desperately need it.

Looks to be a good game :) They are near their goal of 5Million dollars.

IT is made for PC and PC exclusive. It is not like EVE where you ARE the ship. You are a person in this game and scale and everything matters.

I have a DD-WRT router (Asus RT-N12), would I need to redo the whole thing if I upgrade the computer OS?

Assassin's Creed 3 comes out tomorrow (for glorious PC master race). Totally excited. Hopefully it runs better than Revelations. For whatever reason, turning settings down doesn't really improve performance. When running at 1080p, dropping the AA from 4x to 2x netted me like 3 extra FPS.

It sure does look good, though.
