Just about. Chromebooks are even poorer versions since they're cloud based so local storage is garbage.

Lenovo is probably one of the few companies still making netbook styled computers for sale in the US and it's a single thinkpad model (E145).

Reminds me of my old middle school. All the school staff were super cautious around the 2007 Macbooks we had. I had one teacher who insisted that if somebody broke one, they'd be expelled and have to pay $2000 to replace it. I, apparently, had the gall to ask how they would handle the fact that those weren't produced anymore... she just got flustered and said that it didn't matter because Macs are the best and they're all exactly alike, and that other laptops and PC's that ran something other than Mac OS were "different", "confusing" and, I crap you not, "bad".

Because it wasn't made by Apple.

Oh guys, the main reason I switched to Linux wasn't because I was being a freetard or w/e but because my HDD died, my second seagate, now having a 1 and 3 TB fail, and I only had a 60G Intel 330 SSD and currently it's using 10G of it and I have an external drive for storing photos and bluray rips and music. But with windows I couldn't have a decent system with *only* 60G of space, I feel like buying one of those new Samsung 850 Pros in 256G and I can install games and **** on it or maybe take the hit in reliability and get a 512G Samsung 840 Evo to store lots more games but I want Schiit to be reliable, also, I do have a 1TB WD Green that I think I'll use to store all my music and pictures for faster access and redundancie, just need to be good about keeping backups lol.

Please, no.  Lots of negative connotations with those meme arrows.  Please limit their use to 9gag.
