Just got my cougar fans in. (They were on sale for those that didn't read, otherwise I would have either not bought them or went with another brand)

Dem Fixer rubber stands....

Took me 5minutes to learn how to efficently get the schiit through the wholes.

That was so painful for my fingers. I learned the trick after that on how to do it, but man do my fingers hurt right now from all the failed attempts.

I thought Cougars were actually pretty good. My friend is running one.

I don't hate them anymore.

I was ranting/raging when I typed it this morning. My fingers still hurt from all the failed attempts at them. I'm not longer mad and its working well :D

There is an issue with my system however that prevents me from changing fan-speed well.

My motherboard gives me options for normal mode and silent mode and then custom mode where you can set the pwm curve per V. Problem is that none of my fans are PWM with the 4 pins (one is but that is plugged into a 3 header due to cable routing).

Speedfan doesn't work in my system.

You can hear the fans at full max when the computer starts and after it gets past bios, it goes into a 'silent' mode of sorts.

I don't have a problem with this. I prefer this actually. It's just those times when I want to play with it that it is hard.

I've onlyy spent 30mins diagnossing this. Gonna spend some more in the weekend.

The cougars are currently awesome :) Especially for $5 with free shipping per fan. Considering these are generally $16 per fan(I wouldn't pay that)

I currently have both on my side case mount as intakes so that they blow at my two GPU's.

Temps are down 6-8C which is nice during load and about 10+C during idle.

The two fans seem to be overkill and the second one may not be doing much as it is pointed at the rear of my closed reference fan designs. The excess air flow seems to be flowing to be bottom of my case as well.

Probably gonna take one and do an intake going from the top.

All of dogehouse's stratums are down and I can't seem to find a way to access my old account to get the 800 something coins I mined yesterday off... at least it's not too many. Still it's pretty sketchy, guy that runs the site not responding to messages for such a long time.

Yeah I noticed all this yesterday when it started.

EDIT: Wow now the guy that moved the domains is getting banned lol god this whole situation is so messed up. From their website:

UPDATE After smiba violated the deal that was made publicly in #dogehousepool ( with 176 people online ) official irc channel and moved the dns servers prematurely he will not be getting the database.

I feel the same way about the rubber "screws" I got with my Noctua fans, once I figured it out I was happy, I do like the rubber pins though, my Rosewell case has some holes drilled on the front plate for air flow, and I can totally jerry Rig like 3 80mm fans to it :D [there's only 2 "screw"mount positions"
