The game looks absolutely stunning with this ENB config I'm using.

Wow, those ss look nice, it's been so long since I've last played FO3, back then the only mods available was a few world texture mods and Dimonised's body replacers, no ENB or anything from the nexus. The Terminator mod was awesome though.

These days I'm focusing on Skyrim mods, a major PITA to work with and runs like dog crap on a high end system I have.

Getting to a certain XP unlocks certain upgrades (ex. fuselage, engine, new guns, etc.).

The new system is absolute garbage, especially the entire specializing in one line of planes from one country since it actually takes longer now from what I've seen and heard to advance up the tree.

They changed the system? Ahh, I guess that is why my old knowledge of WT isn't pulling through

Bi-planes ftw

WOOOOOOOOT

Also, I just realized Dolphin is up to 4.02 :O holy smokes! I'll have to fiddle with it tonight, my 7870 runs better on Dolphin 3.5 than 3.0, but 3.0 still sounds the best :/, 3.5 has always had wierd sound issues,

well I got 4.0 and the DSP LLE files I need so I should be able to get OPTIMAL PERFOMANCE with the newest versision of Dolphin and mah new config audio config files

in addition my home PC is now offline q.q

and I'm getting like $800 or so bucks from mah taxes [yay] so.... not sure what I'll be getting with that yet... I'm SUPER tempted to attempt to upgrade my current rig, but I think the better bet is to buy my self another Wii U, and pocket taht $500 for a rainy day or an OMG SALE on a AMD r290 [non x... screw the X]

but atm Dolphin 3.0 MAXES my cpu like a mofo... but it looks and sounds SOOO RIGHT [actually not really I noticed some UGLY lagg in Mertroid Prime last night q.q, audio and visual that I didn't have with my slower 6950 [which had more shaders, but didn't... operate nearly as fast as the 7870 does]

still my biggest issue with dolphin atm is it's not utilizing my GPU as much... my 6950 would hit 90% load easy when emulating, my 7870 barely hit's 40% :/ need to adjust my configurations so dolphin put's a crap ton of load back onto my GPU, so I can use the additional SPEED and POWA mah 7870 has.

That said, I've got 4 new GC roms and some new Audio files... it should b a fun night tonight. I also noticed, I attempted to play Shogun Total War 2 Last night, and it [I kid you not] put like 98% load onto ONE of my four cores... then crashed -.- I got it from steam so it's legal

but like what the heck Shogun <.< I also adjusted my CPUs Dynamic vCore [that thing that let's it have more or less voltage depending] so that might have to do with the crash, but I've never actually gotten Shogun total ar 2 to work on my pc... it always has some wierd error or update

anyways I'm off to overclock to see if any of those guys have some Dolphin configure tips

I'm making a pc for $500. How does this look? What should I change? I'll use it for some gaming (Minecraft, Indie games, Steam games?), school work, and general purpose stuff. I know I didn't use the Source 210 but right know it's $44 on Newegg.

Looks good, if you're trying to save money you might want to just get 1x4gb stick if you REALLY feel the need for 8gbs of ram I'd get 2x4gb sticks instead.

I'm running that cpu at 4.3ghz max temp is only 42c :-)

I have no comment on the case I'm not at all knowledgeable enough.

My dad is giving me an aftermarket cooler for this to. I found that the ram I choose is less than other 2x4gb modules. I'll be doing some basic video editing for my youtube channel.

What ling said, its 'fine' but you could of course change stuff

Do note that while the CPU you have is fine, if you swap to other FX series CPU's, you may need to do a bios update first.  I just checked, and it seems the FX 6300 works on stock firmware. (seems)

A few prices 'could' be lower, but nothing too bad.

The MSI card was on sale for $110 a few days ago last I remember.

Any reason you prefer the RE3?

Good list, here is a few ideas I think might maximize performance/$:

1-
Get the same CPU and a motherboard from Microcenter.  Or..  965 BE if you are lucky ;)

Free motherboard + cheap CPU = WIN!

From experience, the i5-4670k did not give me any noticeable performance increases in gaming (I had the 955 BE).  ~1 fps maybe, but that was in Crysis 3 so I do not know.  Would be more worthwhile if you had a bigger spending budget IMO.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2-

PCI-e WiFi is not as good as USB (b/g/n?), might want to take that into consideration.  TP-Link TL-WN822N sells at Microcenter for less than $12.  Much stronger amplification, and separate antennae for 2.4 Ghz / 5 Ghz bands.  I have A LOT of neighborhood traffic on 2.4 Ghz (Nobody has N routers, just the bundled schiit from WoW/Comcast/etc), and the WN822N really makes a difference.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

3-

Microcenter will price match anything from Newegg! They have way better service than Newegg

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

EDIT 2: Ignore this

4-

Take any possible savings and put them into a 3rd party CPU cooler, e.g Hyper 212+ evo.  The stock AM3+ cooler for AMD is schiit.  Loud, and terribly poor at keeping CPU cool.

5-

I do not see anything regarding Windows, so I would have to assume you are going Linux (makes more sense for the GTX 750), or you are going to pirate Windows :p (Makes less sense on a budget?)

P.S:  I think the case is too much *no offense* .

I think I made the same comments the last time you asked this question haha.

EDIT:  Cannot wait for these hotshots to shoot down my CPU recommendation :p

EDIT3:  I like the 1x8GB because you have some room for upgrading.  In another perspective, I see it a little pointless because your system really will not ever need 16GB, and Dual Channel actually will increase system throughput.  eBay makes for a decent RAM source!

EDIT4:  Editing is fun

EDIT5:  Could use a Xonar DG just for the Optical Out

EDIT6:  Did I mention editing is fun?

EDIT:7 I am going to bed, good night ;)

EDIT8: EDIT 7*

EDIT9: I lied about going to bed

EDIT10: Spam?

Just buy an 4960x, RIVE BE, 32GB of ram and 4 gtx780's and you're done.

^What DefQon said

Ubisoft just lost 12+ hours of gameplay.

.....I want to cry a bit...................

And why? Because of Uplay Cloud Save being schitty

Schitty implementation of cloud makes me want to cry.

Ubisoft is fail

EA is fail

BF4 is fail

COD is major fail

Treyarch and Activision should go back to the Abyss where they belong.

Its sad because cracked Uplay games have better save functionality :D

Never liked the Uplay client...Its so bad...  Completely ruined my experience with Driver

Would be nice if all the developers played nice and had a unified open source client/APIs. That and a BF2 remake are obviously never going to happen.

I actually have grown tired of video games in general.  They are not as satisfying-- Too easy and or unoriginal.  Every game has a tutorial that is tailored to where even a shoe could learn to play the game.  Just... Tired...  That said, almost finished fixing up my spare Virtual Boy.

Dood BF4 comes out, everyone hates it and says it's **** (it is)

CoD Ghosts comes out,  not as many people like it (as they should)

Win8 comes out everyone hates it.

Titan Fall just came out and the first question people have is "Does it suck?"

Seems like the majority of games coming out really blow recently.

Windows 8 is totally a game too.
