Spend more time on [H] or overclock.net in the deals section and the truth will be untold.

On the other hand, is there any reason I should buy a pair of W1000X?

Yeah been so since 2007. Had another account before that from 2001 but had to make a new one due to email change.

Well I'm packing wood myself if they want a more bigger surprise.

The problem is the only ever AT headphone I've liked is the ANV3000 and W11 off the Yamamoto HA-02 amp gosh the treble is to die for with that combo.

Well this one is $250 + 45 ship to australia in the f/s threads. One driver supposedly started distorting for the seller so his selling it for cheap. Could be a cable problem, may not but spare drivers apparantly can be had for around $50 from AT.

Still sound like a good deal?

so $300 total, with a need for either a $50 driver or $50 recable

which is $350 for a used w1000x... there are better deals. I've seen em go for $350 modded

but if you can sodder your self, then yea I think it would be a good deal :D

I'm RMA'ing the Apple RAM I bought

The RAM isn't 'broken'. It passes all tests, but some 3rd party RAM sometimes have issues with causing kernal panics.

It seems I was unlucky and got one that didn't work with mine -_-

Just bought a Crucial set

Also good to hear Apple has great customer service, I'm not suprised that they do they are a great company. I just don't like paying the price for their products and support when I can service purchase, build and service my own equipment :3

Its all about thresholds and redundancy!  Macbooks are not as tolerant, so you could say your RAM IS defective for your purposes.

WHY U NED MOAR RAM ANYWAYS?

- Get Ubuntu on your Macbook

- Less panics

- Profit?

Of all the things I have disagreed with you so far, I agree with the bold statement.

How is this so far for a budget build? Planing to buy them to build. Parts with $26.00 are from a Tigerdirect Bundle (A little skeptical of them...).

I will upgrade it later but right now I am just using it for internet browsing, light gaming (Minecraft, Indie Games, Steam Games?) , basic video editing, MSI Afterburner gameplay recording, music, and school work.

CPU: AMD FX-4130 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($26.00)
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS7000V(AL)-1-PWM CPU Cooler  ($26.00)
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($26.00)
Memory: Patriot Viper Xtreme 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($26.00)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($26.00)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 650 1GB Video Card  ($89.99 @ Microcenter)
Case: Thermaltake Commander MS-I ID ATX Mid Tower Case  ($32.99 @ Microcenter)
Case Fan: Kingwin CFY-012LB 40.0 CFM 120mm  Fan  ($26.00)
Case Fan: Kingwin CFY-012LB 40.0 CFM 120mm  Fan  ($26.00)
Optical Drive: LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer  ($26.00)
Other: Ultra LSP Series V2 ATX 550-Watt Power Supply  ($26.00)
Other: Ultra X-Blaster ATX Mid-Tower V2 Case ($26.00)

Total: $382.98

Send me the link for the $26 rebate deals?

TD has been the worst at rebates in terms of them giving Total Defense so much prime time on their site.
