Yeah good job on the cable management. One thing though. I recommend you get a silicone case for the SSD to damp all the vibrations from the HDDs and fan since it appears to be coupled to the rack. It'll also protect against any possible bangs when opening/closing that side too.

I used screws to hang it onto the bays (they're clamping the SSD to the bays). It should be fine. No noise that I can hear.

there's 2cm of room for cable management and the thing is a bit less than 1 cm thick, so it should be fine. I would use rubber pads but the ones I had from my Hyper 212 EVO for the fan brackets were all used in mounting my 140mm fan to the 5.25" bays.

Thanks for the suggestions though.

That's a great build Hybrid. I wish I had that few wires on the backside of the MB tray, but I have like a million.

*edit* you have a lot too it just looks better lol. The wire I have going across the back of the CPU there is due to the Seasonic CPU power wire being too short and the Obsidian case being too damn tall.

For work? Or is that media and backup important?

Most users 'media' isn't something I would ever believe they would want redundancy on.

For everything really. So it is important. You wouldn't want 99% of your family albums and video to disappear would you? Same goes for music purchases too. Plus I am able to stream multiple 1080p like a breeze and still work, game, design etc. Consolidation of different applications allows for a generally higher quality computing experience, along with excellent efficiency. I draw about 80w idle with all the stuff in there.

Going to make hard copies of our photos and videos, and will keep digital copies on verbatim gold discs.  Been putting it off for too long....  RAID-5 wow!  Our company has everything in RAID-1 XD

Unlike you I am one cool cat   All my most precious data is stored on a 5+ year old consumer drive (was refurbished too >.<)

Do you use consumer grade drives or the red label/NAS?  Can we have a picture as well
