Pretty happy, just got a Corsair TX 750 watt psu for free! I have absolutely no idea if it works...  I'm a little scared to test if it does lol but it'd be nice to upgrade my current OCZ 550w I'd be set up for a second 7970!

Get a power supply tester! Don't stick it in your system unless you know it works! It can fry all of your components if it's bad.

I was just going to say do it, i had a 650w OCZ that failed and took out my motherboard.  From dissecting it i found it was an utter piece of crap full of components from unknown Chinese manufacturers and buldgeing capxon capacitors.  The Corsair will be a much better quality product, and i suspect fairly recent.

But yeah, good point from Tman, if its of unknown condition test it first.

exactly, and NEVER TAKE apart a PSU. Those things hold a LOT of power in them, even when the circuit is not active. You can still really hurt your self touching one!

I'll probably just ask a local shop if they can test it... FOR FREE. I can't be bothered to spend $20 for something I'll never use again.  I've also thought about using it as an AC amp for two 12 inch subs since I don't have room for them in my new car.  I need to look into that and see if it's even remotely safe.

Yea get that tested and let us know how safe it would be to hook up those subs. I suppose if your Subs had 4Pin conenctors it might be ok? But do let us know, I actually knew a fella who... did not have a car sterp, rather he had a LapTop wired up to speakers in his car... a rather cool set up I think. Pretty sure he had an amp dac ect... as well... not sure exactly how he wierd everything but again it was pretty cool! He even teathered his Phone to the LapTop so he could have a BIG Road map when he needed it

Well they released an update for the BF4 beta and now I get acceptable FPS.  Too bad now that I can actually play it I realize that it just feels like CoD and is totally arcade-ish.

Since when has Battlefield NOT been arcade-ish?

It's been that way since BF1942. Hell, maybe even Codename: Eagle.

I haven't played ARMA, but they say it's the most realistic and tactical FPS?
