Metro Last Light and 2033 were quite enjoyable.

AC3 on PC is not recommended so yeah, PS3.

Far Cry is a really good game for the PC

New 3D RPGs are beautiful, but imo aren't as fun.

{ Fable TLC, The Witcher, Final Fantasy VII }  / God Tier?  Diablo, warcraft, and starcraft do not count biggrin.gif

{ Deus Ex, Fallout, Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution } / Were fun, more pretty than fun though.

I think the most time I spent playing RPGs were dedicated to the classics, e.g Zelda, Castlevania, ... etc

Edit: So I guess torrenting a game would not be an option, or have you omitted such thought to spare yourself shame?  tongue.gif

The classics...ah yes. I loved playing many of the Castlevania titles, like Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, and the new ones on the DS (Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Time, and Order of Ecclesia). As for Zelda, I played A Link in Time, Four Swords, and Twilight Princess.

Speaking of torrenting...well, let's just say many games that are English is hard to find in China, especially PS3 and PC titles. I have to resort to torrenting because otherwise, I wouldn't have any games to play.

PS3 games could be seen in the electronics 'district' of Suzhou, but their library is unbelievably limited. Plus, they are priced from 200 to 600 a pop (30 to just under 100 bucks). Okay, sure, maybe those prices are commonplace in the US, but all of the titles around here are used, without the case (or box for an LE title). And I assume that those prices are far more than any used title in the US. As for PC titles, they're nonexistent.

I have a Wii, but the games there suck. Discs for both the Wii and Xbox come at up to $10 maximum. I have a PS3, so I have no need to buy an Xbox.

Call me crazy, but that's basically how things work around here. Many of the expat (expatriate) families like me in our little Filipino community do the same thing.

Just put 7 hours into Dark Soul on PC

Nice. It's a nice game. Really hard though.

Without mods and key mapping. Dark Souls P2D is absolutely unplayable on the PC.

However using DSFix and DSMouseFix, cursor lock, and key mappings made it VERY easy to play on the PC. There are still some bugs but overall, very good now.

Remapping menu and exit keys from INS and DEL to ESC and Backbutton have made it a lot easier to use. Remapping use(A button) to E key and items to Q key have made my life uber easy.

Castlevania SOTN: Saturn > Playstation biggrin.gif

Where I lived previously, a PS3/360 game would be around $98-$130 new. The OEM copies were sold typically at malls, whereas the rips would be at any movie store for ~$7-$10.

You could always try bongo, would still be cheaper for getting a new copy of a game. You should have a 360, I bought several region free 360 games in China for only a few dollars.

Recommend me some mods guys. I just started Dishonoured and it looks dated as schiit. Textures are just...low res. Lighting is nice though.

Bethesda was just the publisher for Dishonored. The game was made by Arkane Studios.

At least 100 bucks new?! I couldn't say a thing.

"Get an Xbox," huh? That's probably the third time I've heard it being said to me. Well, The 360 is superior to the PS3 in this generation, but just take a look at the next-gen models...meh, my dad's old desktop PC could run a few high-intenisty games quite fine, though with a full HD monitor (1080p instead of the 720p TV outside), I have to tweak the settings lower to get better fps. Sadly, this graphics card needs an upgrade.

Who knows, my dad will probably buy a Haswell processor sometime in the future and hand down his Xeon to me. You never know! biggrin.gif

You live in China right?

The Xbox 360 is actually simple to flash, to my knowledge many places in China sell them flashed?  Afterwards, you have a whole gaming library at your fingertips for cheap!

I find the controller of the 360 to be superior than the PS3.  Honestly, there isn't much else I can say nice about the Xbox..  Well I don't like the PS3, I'm biased towards PC gaming!

For the price, a flashed 360 is the way to go.

Yeah, for the price, I get it. "A whole gaming library for cheap?" Heck, my PS3 (and even some 360s in my area) could give me access to an entire library of games for free. I never liked the Xbox, only the specs seemed enticing. The release of the Kinect did nothing to give any extra appeal. Sure, some games are released exclusively there, like Forza Motorsport 4, but isn't Gran Turismo 5 also a PS3 exclusive? (I have that, btw.)

Call me biased, but I've owned the Playstation 1, 2, and now, 3. In the future, I'd like to play a game on the PS4, and maybe own one if possible. But now, I'm leaning over towards the PC for "real" gaming. Of course, I don't mind playing a round of Tekken 6 (PS exclusive, I think) on the PS3 with my dad (he keeps on beating me!) once in a while.

Explain please.

Designed a back plate for my video card:

Also designed a CPU water block and it really sucks having a 990fx ud3 mobo that doesn't have on board graphics so  I can't use my computer to design a GPU block while measuring the graphics card...  I know every forum says there is no difference but is 3/8ths ID tubing just as good as 1/2 in your guys experience? The set up will not be high flow at all, I plan on using a heater core for the radiator and both the CNCed water blocks won't have those micro fins that most blocks do today I really hope I won't need some crazy huge pump.

I've owned many consoles, the 360 has the best gamepad of this generation.  I guess it also has a better overall platform, though the PS3's exclusives cannot be ignored.  The 360 is great for pirating games though!

Haha, you got that right. Even teh PS3 has lots of pirated games, though in my area, those things have games that are less than a dollar a pop. I don't like keeping a bunch of CDs around, though.

PS3 is a pain to work with, the 360 deals with much smaller isos.
