NZXT Sentry Mesh Fan Controller w/ Five 30 watts Channels

New Egg has it as the highest Rated 20 dollar fan,  I like that it's well all black with no LEDS

I have this in one rig. It has one annoying white LED, but it can be covered easy enough. Here is a picture.

It also doesn't start the fans when set to its lowest setting when coming out of sleep or a fresh boot. Also the lowest setting isn't 0%,but that is to be friendly to the forgetful I suppose. Overall it works well for my setup.

Well that's good to know, and ONE Led Won';t kill me. I have a LED that tells me my hard drive is working, I grew up on those Blinking LED'S so I don't mind a few more. Yea I don't want my case to GLOW like a space ship but if it does... who cares lol. Not going to go out of my way to prevent or increase the glowage [although if it is going to glow it needs to glow blue xD]

LoL, mine glows like a space ship. I guess the white LED matches the white LEDs from my M/M stack. I don't really notice them much anyway.

I have the same fan controller as well.  For the price its ok, it powers 5 of my fans without any issues.

It cannot completely power off fans nor fully power the ones I have tried.  The build quality is alright, though not all sliders move with the same resistance.  My next system will have better cable management, which I'll probably opt for the LX or similar scythe fan controller.

Anyone know of a better looking itx case than the Bitfenix Prodigy?

Yea, my first build has semi sufficent management... it's not great, might not be good but it's not BAD. It's barley sufficent, so adding in another messy Cable set isn't a big deal. I'll re work my cables when I clean my rig, install the 5 news fans this controller and the new cpu cooler. I'm hoping for $100 upgrade to the cooling, I can oc to at least 4.2, then sell it for around $600 [orignal cost me $1000 Including Monitor] I'm going to sell it without the Monitor, and with the Mouse but not the Key Board. I like my Corsair M60 but it's been giving my some real issues, it's powering it self dwn when the pc is still running, along with the good ole POWERED ON but not moving issue... so I'll try a new mouse. Or Buy a M90 Mouse,

When I was looking for a new keyboard, the M60 caught my eye.  Saw similar symptoms in reviews, though the real reason why I did not purchase was the fact that I got my sidewinder X4 for $25 new lol.

The i7 3970K is less than half price and 30% faster, not to mention the overclocking potential XD

My bad, i7 still the way to go biggrin.gif

I'd rather not pay for premium silicon, especially when you cannot take advantage of the higher overclocking headroom >.<
