Thanks

Funny thing is that I haven't played a majority of the games I have recently bought.

Mas Effect 2 Bundle

If you buy during Happy Hour and select the gift option. You get 2 of everything.

It's obviously an indie bundle that got Mass Effect on to use its name to sell but as I've never played ME2. Why not.

EDIT: Never mind, found what I was looking for.

For kicks, I loaded up Borderlands 2 to see how much video memory it used. No special amount, but what bugged me was at 2160 x 1350 I can only get about 24FPS, yet my GPU load was only at 50%. So I'm guessing that my CPU is bottlenecking me really badly on that game...

I've had Dark Souls on the back-burner of my to-play list for too long. With the release of Dark Souls 2 in the near future, I decided it was about time. Haven't been able to put it down. There is very little to complain about, and a lot to gush over. The main thing is that for me, it is fun.

When I decided whether to keep playing a game, it is always based on if it is worth my time: Dark Souls is worth my time.

It isn't as hard as I thought it would be based on reviews but challenging enough to keep my interest going.

Decisions have long term and short term consequences, many that cannot be fixed, which is awesome. I love the online interaction through messages on the ground and other forms.

I actually have no desire to give this game a number rating as I don't think it would accurately express my thoughts about the game. In the end, it's a lot of fun -- Even the dying can be fun/hilarious.

This happens to me with Farcry 3... GPU is only at 40-60% but I get 30-40fps in some spots.

Also I just ordered a cheapo external enclouser for an ancient 80gb IDE hdd I pulled out of my dads computer.  Can finally back up some of my stuff.

This could be for a couple of reasons'

The monitor you are using for GPU and 'FPS' could have a delay to it. (most do, as having real time recording rather than ever few seconds uses up more resources)

Or the game deemed that what you are looking at isn't/doesn't need your graphics power so your card isn't pulling weight if it doesn't need to be.

Or the most LIKELY case is the games not as optimal optomization leading to it not recognizing the need to go full.

An old pic I took of Unigine Valley:

I definitely will be contributing some here. I don't play too many games, but I do benchmarks, overclocking and I am in the process of building a pretty amazing PC right now.

Yeah, I felt it needed a bump and after seeing that picture I'm like "Why not bump the thread with it? It's unobtrusive and looks nice!"

Bit-tech is bettuh.tongue.gif

Unigen Valley didn't impress me. Probably the massive texture popping problems.
