It's the pump. It's at a jaunty angle because it's held in place with white-tac until I buy something to secure it better. rolleyes.gif

Witcher does look fantastic with all the setting pumped to max, even if Crysis 3 has it beat on facial textures, I think it beats Crysis 3 on vegetation.

Crysis hasnt explored real vegetation for a while.

But I think we need a closer look. Dx11 and tesselated vegetation imo on crysis 3 looks better

The vegetation in Crysis 3 looks too monotone. Opening the games up again, W2 looks more vibrant and interesting, but the geometry is lower and the textures are roughly 1/2. Crysis 3 looks more bland, but the geometry is more detailed and the textures are sharper. I'll get some screenshots of them both on ultra settings later, got lectures.

It's a Ducky Shine 2 with some custom translucent red polycar keycaps.

I backlit my monitor with an LED strip. :)

Finished Crysis 3. It was quite good I thought.

Also, I found a turtle.

Anyone seen this Rigid Gems thing? It's a neat little tech demo showing off real time Ray-Tracing.

EDIT: A few high res screens.

Based solely on how real it looks, it's the best looking tech demo I've ever seen. Considering how little there is to see, though, it's a little demanding. At 1440 x 900 I get about 40FPS, and at 2160 x 1350 I get 20FPS.
