I want quiet and not too aggressive for my next build, so Fractal with some "quieter" fans with high cfm(noctua etc) seem the way to go

It has 120/140mm mounts in the front and back now, it used to just have 120 in the R1/2/3

Folks, can anyone comment on the performance of the Amd FX-8350? on multitasking/games/Oc?

Should be fine; what exactly are you worried about it not being capable of doing?

Feel like getting Trials Extreme Gold or Alan Wake... But I'm saving up for a decent DAC and a new monitor... frown.gif

Better OC potential and overall experience with games. Im upgrading from a FX-6100

Just want to make sure there's a real difference, and im not only paying for 10% performance increase.

You'll see a little improvement, whether or not thats worth your dollars I don't know.

Have you overclocked the 6100, and what GPU do you have?

Multitasking wise the 8350 beats the 3570. While games tend to favour single core performance, newer titles such as Crysis 3 are much more optimised more multi-core and the 8350 performs much more competitively with them.

No idea about OC.

Some prettier ME3 screenshots with same settings as before + ENB profile.

The FX-8350 is basically 2x the 4170 which i currently own, which, although may not perform as well as Intel for gaming, does better in OC and Multitasking.
