I've never been to a LAN party. I barely even game.

EDIT: Haven't had a CRT for about 11 years.

The solution is simple, have your friends bring their systems over instead! tongue.gif

I dont think i ever will transport my rig..a corsair d800 with everything watercooled...and 8hdd's and 1 ssd, and big corsair 1200w psu..and i still need to make the second loop for the gpu and cpu with second rad and second pump in a rack outside the case. My wife vacuums already around itbiggrin.gif

yeah, i didn't realize mine was that heavy until the day i tried to pick it up

This is why I went the other way around... Mini-ITX system lol!

Yeah yeah, I know I wont get the same FPS and performance from games but I don't ask much when gaming and my rig plays most of the games I have rather well.

(P.S. Have one system on a Cooler Master Elite and another on a Fractal Design Node 304...)

That was only a reference from back in the day, with the CRT...

HP Proliant DL580's and they are not the biggest... (These are the old Apache, Postfix & Bind machines I look after...)

40KG's each with all the drives and power supplies in them and we must of had 30 of them.

I guess you girlies have never humped any of these around either... tongue_smile.gif

But...

I have built an few 8 core Tyan S4881's with it's M4881 daughter card, (32) 1GB ECC's & (8) 500GB HD's  4 P/S's in a redundant 5U case...(All current hardware in its time) Now those were heavy pigs...

While I am jelly, I also relish in the fact that I'll be able to build a faster rig for half the money in just a few short years. tongue.gif

It's really too bad that computer gear does not keep it's value like headphones do.

Those will be worth a $50 each in 3 years. frown.gif

Screw turner and Hired Network Grunt...

Occasional Sysadmin when I am forced to be, but mostly a BOFH.

I build and deploy systems.
