EDIT: Or not.
Earlier Steam had a countdown until it was available, but it's not there now.
EDIT: It's out now.
15GB... It's going to be a while...

It would be fast for me if I wasn't on wifi. The fact that my signal fluctuates means my speed drops well below 1MB/s.
Wifi has to be one the the stupidest pieces of technology (or piece of something, amirite?) ever.

I dont get flucuations of signal. I have a $300 router and my Macbook or Pc wiress adapter (for pc laptop) are both Wireless N dual band. My house isnt weird and doesnt have chicken wire or very thick signal impermeable areas. Its not really wifi
Regardless of money spent, the security, stability, consistency, and speed of wired will always make it superior. I'm literally like 15 feet away from the router, and the house has the thinnest walls ever, so in theory I should be getting near 100% signal.
Just wish my dad wouldn't get mad at having cables going through the house. I'd probably be able to get a consistent 3MB/s.
Wow, installing the non-steam, non-DVD version is a freaking hassle. You need 15GB of space for the download, 15GB for caching the install files, and then 15GB for the actual game directory.
I am intereste in Far Cry 3 and the next Crytek games. Hopefully Crytek can bring Homefront from the dead and Crysis 3 comming back to redefine our master race like it did 6 years ago.
I think it's going to take a lot for me to get interested in Far Cry 3. Right after Far Cry 2 was released they mentioned that they really wanted to set the next game in Alaska, or some other snowy place, and that got me really excited. Now it's just generic tropical environments.
