Headphones last longer, and unless your current GPU is struggling, there is no need to upgrade soon.

As someone else also looking into a first mechanical keyboard (I know I at least would like something back-lit), what is your opinion on the Cherry MX Greens, which as I understand are a CM exclusive for now?  Also, any suggestions as to how I should test what would be the right switch for me if I can't find a way to access a sample?

Refurb black widows off woot for those who want to take the risk for $80~. Its more of a PITA than a risk of shipping things back and forth if you get a bad unit.

Think I'm just going to keep waiting for the nighthawk to go on sale. Especially since I promised myself I'd stop spending money.

Boy, SWTOR screwed me good. The gimped experience rate made me stuck in a weird gap between planets, level-wise. I'm too high of level, and there aren't enough quests to get good experience on the planet I was just on, but the monsters are too high a level for me to kill or complete quests on a new planet. mad.gif

Were I to have gotten the correct amount of experience throughout the game, I think I'd be level 29 or so by now, instead of 27.

Generally speaking, you'll get the right level if you complete both your class quest and the planetary quest. However this gap happens occasionally with P2P as well. What class are you playing? My sith inquisitor (Jedi sage/wizard empire equivalent) fights bosses 2 levels above it fine. If you're on Alderran, try doing some of the less important missions first, like the mission for killing those ant people, they tend to be easier.

Oh, one more thing, P2P players actually get something around double the experience of F2P players, with the "rested" experience added on.

The problem is it's not like I can just knock out a few quests on Alderaan and hit the next level. I JUST hit level 27, and the groups of enemies typically contain two level 28's, and two level 29's. It's a recipe for getting my ass kicked.

Up until this point I've done all the quests on each planet, and I really don't feel like just grinding group quests, then having to wait 24 hours to do them again.

Ugh, maybe I'll just shelf SWTOR for now. Not much I can do, and the thought of grinding just to catch up is bumming me out. Not to mention even if I do catch up in level, I'll have to grind in the future as well, to keep catching up. Bioware really ****ed people with that experience penalty... mad.gif

~ 1/3 people win a free collectors edition? That's pretty generous.
