No kidding, what's the difference in the pads?

But when I'm Home ,yes I feel quite annoyed by the smaller earcups. Must try it yourself whether it is comfortable before buying, fitting issue can change the sound quality.

65mm tall ears is BELOW THE GLOBAL MALE AVERAGE - Sennheiser would not make a circum-aural headphone designed below the global male average ear size, otherwise they could not call it that legitimately.

65mm ears CAN fit inside the Momentums ear pads.

Yet many people complain. The vertical distance between the inner seams on the leather is approx, 6 cm, I just measured it. The inner seam presses on my ear's skin and after a while causes some discomfort. If that seam wasn't there or was made differently I wouldn't have this issue. I have the brown Momentums. I wonder if the Black ones have differently designed pads.

Their all the same. Not all ear pads are exactly identical to the dot in measurements.

I know - but I was addressing the parts of the quotes that in made bold, that stated: 65mm can't fit inside and that 65mm ears are 'large'. Both are simply untrue.

Do you own a pair and do the inner seams that I mentioned bother you after you've been wearing them for a while?

In my experience, my black momentum fit my ear nicely. Whereas ,the brown momentum which i have sold it, have fitting problem with me probably due to long-term of abusive use(sweating and wet earcups) that eventually causes irritation and fitting problem to my ears. Oh btw the earcups can absorb your sweat and its disgusting.. Okay admit I use the momentum outside when it is 34"C really hot... Haha

I've never been bothered by the momentums size, ear cups or seams. I've worm them for 3-5 hours a couple of times too.

I think Shrek will just have to stick to loudspeakers and forget headphones altogether. Poor fella.

Dear Shrek, you can't use loud speakers in congested apartments or Moving Train, that is the purpose of headphone biggrin.gif

Or he'll turn into one of those obnoxious hooded teenagers blasting tin-foil sounding hip-hop from their electronic portable devices, sat at the back of the bus.

Or just hooded, he's already obnoxious.

He looks like someone that can benefit from custom molded IEM's.

I just tried the Amperior and while I still prefer my GR07's, these are a step in the right direction. Still... I prefer Ultrasone DJ1/HFI 580's more.

The Amperiors sound less clouded then the Momentum's but don't quite hold up against the clarity of the beloved Ultrasone's, both Ultrasone's are also currently cheaper.

Comfort is better then I thought given the design/type of earphone. Not much clamping force and the pads feel nice on my ears. They are pillows compared to AKG K518LE's that's for sure, lol. The cold to touch aluminum cups... I am fan of, aesthetically. Quite thick cable to thin cable... not very much a fan, no.

Use time... About 2h's.

Anybody else want to let me try gear, yes pls. I pay in digi hugs smily_headphones1.gif AKG K240's?
