Hidition says:

"At now , silicone canal type ceased  because of it's durability .

we can make only hard acrylic type."

They finally replied - apparently they were at a Korean expo.

Hidition says:

"Configuration of NT6-pro is 1(sub-bass)/2(low)/1(mid)/1(high-mid)/1(high).

 bore is  divided into each  high(single unit) // mid + high-mid(double unit) // sub-bass + low(single + double unit)"

Per Hidition:

Re-fit & A/s :

Hidition provide re-fit  service within six months. and you'll be charged for shipping .

Let me explain  more After-service shortly.

After A/S period, we'll provide A/S ( extra-charge )go on forever  unless  disuse.
Including  RE-shell ( limit  on 3 times  /  additional expenses) .

Yes, I thought I updated the review but I guess I just removed the option.  Mine are silicone because I initially had a fit issue with them being too loose and the sound was a bit brittle and cold. I believe they were using the silicone to compensate for their tech that was making the shells, but I think they hired a better tech.  Mine don't get much use since I spend minimal time listening to anything for pure pleasure (I have one of 4 CIEMs in my ears these days since that is what I am reviewing), but they seem durable.  The silicone is relatively hard and there is only a thin layer.

I knew the NT-6 pro was a 5-way, but just recently was told the config, but thanks for posting it here.

Interesting on the reshells...lifetime warranty against fit, or at least a long protection to ensure you keep a great fit, even if your canals change!

The NT-6 Pro I got last October are silicone-tipped. The silicone is hard, like a_j says, and ought to be durable if you're careful, but it's obviously going to be more vulnerable to scratches, cuts, and other accidents than acrylic will be. Whether there's going to be a possibility years from now of, say, the silicone shrinking or distorting or no longer adhering to the acrylic core, I can't say. Obviously, if my model was all acrylic that wouldn't even have to be considered.

When I send goods to South Korea, I have to complete customs forms which include declarations of value. Since I bought my IEMs in Seoul and flew back with them myself, I ended up not paying duties, but the shipping cost was quite high. tongue.gif

Did anyone get any replies from Hidition recently?

I have emailed them several days ago, but never got replied yet.

Someone told me they are in Expo something? I will send off my Miracle soon, and also want to order NT6PRO as soon as possible :(

Unfortunately, no. My last email to them went out last Thursday which has so far gone unanswered. I am getting impressions done tomorrow and was hoping to ship them out immediately but need some instructions to do so. I am hoping to hear back tonight.

Yes, i hope so as well.

Their instruction has been posted on their website. But, seriously, that's too hard to read.

Great news! I just heard from Hidition today. Hidition's process of making their CIEMs is extremely short. Only need about a week. (Maybe only two weeks can be delivered)

Sub'd, I am rather interested with these things especially if my ears are small for 5 way reference (I don't know yet). I have a question though, especially for European customers of Hidition. How was the communication with Hidition? Was everything clear, were they helpful and all? Also after paying Hidition, did you get any issues with European custom taxes as soon as they enter into the EU region?

I am checking their website and it scares me even in English language there is not much in English. Now I am a little bit short on time but I will try to read everything in both Hidition threads (this and NT 6).

I also just noticed they don't do silicone canals anymore, that's sad for me frown.gif

They are clear enough and all their emails are understandable.

They answered to my questions after a few days, but they always answered.

Concerning shipping, they usualy use EMS, but you can ask for Fedex (they'll apply a small extra charge) if you prefer, they seem to be quite flexible.

For custom taxes: Hidition said that the European Union and South Corea signed (a few years ago) a FTA (accord de libre-échange in French): so european customers should not pay any custom taxe...

Tupac bought a pair of NT6, It would be nice if he could confirm if he payed taxes or not.

I see you are from France, do you have a pair from Hidition, if so any tax issues? Because if there is no custom tax for us, I am probably sold. I will also ask Tupac too. Also mate, thank you so much for answering all of my questions, great help wink.gif

Nope, I don't have any CIEM, but like you, I want the SE5.

But going for the 5 way means I'll have to upgrade my source; all in all, it is a lot of money (I am a student, just like you)

So the NT6 is my back up plan, among others...

According to Hidition, because of the FTA, we will not pay custom taxes, but I think it is safer to ask Tupac.
