I own an iPhone 4 and I love it. But Apple has not given me any incentive to upgrade as of yet.

How's the noise cancelation? That's one of my favorite new features I've read about. I hate not being able to hear who I'm talking to.

It hasn't been overly windy since I got it so hard to assess how it is when using it outside.

The voice SQ is better for sure. But ios6 is full of bugs like the incessant battery draining and websites not loading over WiFi. Apple is working on the battery issue at least. And of course the Maps debacle. There are other weird things too that I'm not so sure are software related. I wish I would have stayed with iOS 5.1.1 and the iPhone 4S until they worked out the problems. Apple has a tendency of releasing products not ready for market.

The strange thing is that the GM beta of iOS 6 had no problems but they changed something in the public release for some unknown reason.

I think they're way better than Microsoft though...

My iphone 5 arrived a lot earlier than I thought it would, and have used it for the past 5 days.  Coming from the old 3GS, the 5 does feel a lot more speedy.  Took a while to get used to the new width of this phone, really narrow compared to the extra space on the sides of the screens of the older model, but it does feel great in hand with the satiny metal unibody.  LTE on ATT in the SF area is spotty at best so I'm usually on '4G', not much new there in terms of speed.  Audio wise, I have been using my CIEM's with the audio jack on my old iphone and this new one doesn't do too much different, fine for a multi purpose portable media player.

Hey man, how are the speakers on the iPhone 5? Are they louder? They look better than the 4S'

Same here man.. All the iPhone 4 offered was Siri (useless) and a better processor/graphics... but what the hell are you doing on your phone that requires that much processing power? Video games? Eh, I'll pass. Argument is the same for the iPhone 5 for me too.

The only worthwhile upgrade for me was from the iPhone 3 to the 4th because of the retina display and speed. But, it no longer needs to be any faster (in terms of processing). :/

Honestly, I keep my phone on silent almost all the time that I can't really compare the speakers too well.  If I get an opportunity to use a friend's 4S side by side, I'll check it out.

BTW, there was an article on engadget comparing the various smart phones as audio media players today that was somewhat interesting.

I agree that I have had to turn up the volume a little more on some tracks with the iPhone 5 that I didn't have to on my older 3GS so the headphone out amp is a bit weaker.

Siri is useless? I use her all the time for notes and especially reminders. I'd say reminders are the best use for Siri. Oh and sports scores.

Siri was a bit useless on iOS 5, but really useful and effective on iOS 6 IMO.
