I think the point is stozzer no longer has the player (Rocoo P) at least from what he has said.

And yeah the 3rd Anniversary lettering is visible, barely on the first pic. Pretty much every webcam takes inverted pictures by default, but there should be settings to turn the inversion off.

I hope you guys get this sorted out. Its a really nice dap.

Thanks for the support whippler. Yeh as lee said I had sold the rocoo p many months ago.  Ive mentioned selling it in many other threads and pm's that it was sold so this can be checked.

The thing is im no millionaire, i work and my main hobby is this, i have a budget i retain on buying my audio gear (much to my girlfriends annoyance, apparently i should spend more money on holidays lol) and if i want something else i need to sell what I have and i think this is quite common to a lot of people in the hobby.  The thing that is strange is in a hypothetical situation, i would have defaced 2 players with a value of over £350, that is absolutely crazy.

The other thing is I dont want hisound to fail or anything i love the look of there players, i just didnt think the rocoo P was any good sq wise and I said so, to me there is only Hifiman, colorfly Hisound and Ibasso really making any effort in trying to provide great Sound, competition is good for the market having one less does not benefit me on the community in any way.

As i have said before all I want is for jack to exchange the player for one with the correct back on it.

As I  have said many times in Emails that my boss require you to return the player for check to see if your complain is truth or not, If it is truth, he has promised you to take over the express shipping fee for you.

Why not ship it back as soon as possible to check and then let the things clear ?

Any explanation or excuse is weak than checking the truth.

Sorry jack both I and mods think there is a high chance that if I send the player back you will claim it to be tampered either way.  Then I could be left with no player, no money and you claiming that I have tampered this thing when it is clear from the photo's and absolute common sense, also the possibility has been mentioned to me in pm's from others that this player might "go missing" in the mail.

I am no longer willing to beat around the bush on this as I believe you have somehow done this because of my criticism of the Rocoo P.

As advised by the mods here I may open a paypal dispute (this is not an option due to it being gifted/non goods purchase) with my only other option here being to offer it up for sale severely discounted due to YOU putting the wrong backplate on.

Your behaviour Jack has been nothing short of disgusting in the way you treat a customer paying for such an expensive product, I do not have money at my disposal that I can burn like this.

So there you have it people I guess this brings to end this saga.

If anyone wishes to purchase a brand new Hisound Studio V 3rd Anniversary for £200 + pp please contact me this is over £60/$90 less than being offered from Hisound. It has the backplate of a Rocoo P on it so can be considered a 1 of a kind collectors item basshead.gif.  It comes boxed with all accessories.

PM me for details.

Anyone else though, can I reccomend buying from Hisound or Jack?  ABSOLUTLEY NOT!

On a par but not better than a number of cheaper devices, its a good sound but not as amazing as they hype it, I knew this to be the before my reasons for purchase were the rock solid case and very long battery life, it sounds like the studio V with less hiss (although still present) but I have only done some quick a/b ing others might feel otherwise, and I am fully aware that anything I say about sq may not be seen objectively so I wont bother.  What I might do is offer it to someone like DFKT or others for proper RMA testing and see what he has to say on it.

Please RMA that

Damn Stozzer, what a nightmare.

I can vouch for you selling the Rocco P a long time ago as I communicate with you and read the threads here daily. What worry's me more so is that one will not risk sending the player back in-case of it going presumably 'missing in the mail' or being told the player was tampered with. This is the second unhappy customer I have read about dealing with Hisound in less than a week. Another members went missing on return and they lost the player and money.

I'm not sure this is something I'd want to go through myself, very difficult situation.

Will do (rmaa), contacted dfkt who ripped apart their amp3 player and if not will ask nwavguy.  Unless someone purchases it first.

Would it be possible for Hisound to just send you the correct back-plate? The back-plate is easily removable and attachable. I've removed mine to gain access to inside the player Figure this would be a much easier solution since there seems to be so much distrust here. Either that or I really think a mod should serve as the middle party here and maybe determine if the product was indeed tampered with in any way (which I really hope is not the case).

I just found this thread, and just finished reading through 7 pages. It sucks the way it's turned out so far, but what Lee730 just suggested is IMO the best possible outcome, well sort ofredface.gif.

I would have to agree in NOT shipping the item back to avoid any further disasters.

Well when I did it was on my defective unit. I was trying to determine what was the cause of the major heat. I thought it was the battery but it was not. The board was turning all the energy from the charger into heat instead of charging the battery. I didn't take any pics unfortunately. But it's quite easy to take off that back plate and put it back on (has some minor glue holding it on. It's just a plastic backing over the metal plating. The metal plate has 4 screws I think holding it in place.
