Happy to say that so far the Annie sounds amazing off the Compass 2 as my ODAC+SA-31.

Lol well, the bottom is the SA-31, so it won't be here for long.

Dear god, how I've missed that lovely volume knob. I will never, EVER again go with digital buttons.

Actually, the Compass 2 is a little shorter in length, about 3-4 inches.

How do i remove the cable on Q701? I'm assuming it's the same as on K702.

There should be a small button you need to push before removing the cable.

Friction is probably holding it in.  After you unplug it a few times it should ease up.

Well this is a K702 for Sure ... Or at least it remember me a lot my past K702 . 

 

First K702 (18xxx) didn't use angled pads , the second K702 used  clearly angled pads (33XXX) . And this ANV use another kind of pads as notified before (aka memory foam) .

ya this is correct i didn't have any more original K702 (compared it to my current AD2000) but not enough to make real statement . 

 

 

Out of box it sound good , but when i compare it to my AD2000 i have mixed feelings ...
