65th replacement pads are backordered until the 7th of March. How lame..

I'm still in line to get some at least. I think I ordered them at the end of January.

They don't charge you until they ship though.

I agree about the price. But while they are on the 'airy" side, when well matched with a amp they rival the HD800. They come pretty close. If they were 100 buck less I would be all over them! BTW, Listening to K702 through Sonett ow and loving it!

maybe K801 , and K1001 will be the supreme headphone that will rule them all , it's an old AKG Prophecy .

Can you fit the 65th pads on K701's do you think? Maybe it will affect the sound too much... has anyone tried this?

K701 cost 250 dollars so i don't understand what's the problem with their price if they can rival hd800. There are so many strange ways of reasoning on this forum. It is sometimes very hard to understand what people mean.
