I just heard the greatest portable amp I've ever encountered this morning.

 

 

And alas, I can't really talk about it yet. This thing is going to be amazing....

To my understanding the goal is to have it be priced comparably to other portables. Still has quite a ways to go in development however, so there's no telling.

 

I'm really psyched about this thing. It sounds better than some of the full-sized amps I used to own.

 

Sadly I'm going to have to stop there with my impressions. Ugh... waiting for the production version is going to be tough.

I think good headphones spoiled me completely.

 

Just testing new House of Marley Rise Up headphones and... ugh... so lacking in details and clarity. They are un-ofensive and do great with poorly mastered music or low bit-rate mp3s but other than that... meh!
