AD2000X for $560 is really tempting. Amazon importers are mostly $725-850. Have to pass for now...

Price japan has it for around $540. Though I don't know if they're reliable :s

I looked on Pricejapan. It's $560 atm, and yes they are reliable.

Was playing around with it and went through the ordering process. W/ DHL it was 534 and with EMS it would've been about $20 cheaper.

I'm not surprised prices have gone down on Japanese made gear. The way the Yen has been taking a pounding on the world market there's some deals to be had. I wonder how long it will take before the Yen finally rebounds?

Price Japan is what pressured me to order SR009's a few weeks ago.  It was $3,860 after their more expensive shipping option, which, IIRC means the base price was $3,700ish.  Looks like I could have gotten them a bit cheaper this weak, but meh.

Check out Accuphase pricing, it's down near McIntosh levels.

Hey Currawong you live in Japan you think we're going to see prices on high end Japanese gear fall even more or do you think the market has stabalized

It's not so much the gear, it's the falling yen. If it keeps going down, so will prices on everything.
