Also, in reference to the previous posts about the LCD-2: this is really, really not the thread where people sit around arguing which headphones are better, not in the least because its absurd to get into heated discussions about which subjective experience is objectively superior. While it can be engaging to participate in these kinds of fruitless sparring matches, this is not the place. One of the best aspects of a thread like this is the attempt to avoid the kind of toxic one-upmanship that goes on in the larger community and just sit around, and like, talk about what we like, and like be friendly and chill and stuff.
I blame the influx of Audeze apostles and shills.

I have to confess, first, that I'm not much of a fan of his music, always a little too cold and detached for me. But in addition to his being an absolutely manic, prolific musician, Namlook was a musical catalyst of the first order and influenced almost everything that happened in electronic music for well over a decade.
I can't imagine much of the music I love the most existing at all if it weren't for him, and I'm sad that he's gone.
Thanks. I just kind of sprawled them out for a couple snapshots at the tail end of a shoot, The more interesting things, hopefully, I'll finally have time to post this weekend.
There aren't any kings in this hobby. Only peers, some more fortunate than others.

I'd agree with that Romanian guy 2 days ago (sorry I haven't been on here much lately) that the LCD2's are a better time than the HD650's and I fail to see how the HE-500's really crush them in regards to anything but comfort. Then again, I haven't heard that dude's LCD-2's or Magick's and Magick hasn't heard either of the HE-500's I've owned (both sounded different. See? Hifiman can be just as bad as Audez'e for QC).

Makes me wonder how all these companies that charge a premium for summit fi headphones get away with throwing badly tuned gear onto the store shelves. You'd think there would have been a backlash by now. Thus far we have Audeze Hifiman and Bayerdynamic as the worst offenders. Is Sennheiser AKG and Audio Technica far behind?
