I don't know what that's worth to anybody here though. It's a fun once-over IMO.

Audio-Technica ATH-ESW11JPN
http://popculture.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2012-10-12
YES. The ESW10JPN was one of the best on-ears ever IMO. Too bad this looks pretty much the same as the ESW9, aesthetically ...??
One of these days I'll have to try and focus my attention on Audio Technica more. They're known for making good sounding stuff and I keep stupidly panning their headphones thinking to myself I'll get a pair of AT's whatever headphone it may be at a later date.

He made it.
That was a really impressive event to watch. Guy reached over 700 mph falling back to Earth. Landed right on his feet in the end, didn't even stumble.

My stomach lurched a bit when he actually jumped and just dropped so fast....great to see him land so gently.

I was just thinking, it would really suck if someone passed out sitting in that chair way up there or---worse---on the way down.

I'm sure the engineers had an electronic trigger for the parachute. They're paid to think of stuff like that.

I'm excited for the fact that they substantially lowered the line-out volume as that's been my biggest complaint in regards to both the current CLAS and the HP-P1: one of them -> another amp -> IEM is barely usable. I'm pretty sure that even with the line-out of the new CLAS halved an amp like the Rx MK3-B can still power the big boys on high gain.

More seriously, that's a drag. Then again not too surprising since other digital docks explicitly do not support the video iPods either. Not sure what about that model specifically that makes it troublesome with digital out.
