Hahaha, I figured Valve would post it to their own youtube channel if anything like that was happening.

So I figured I'd check, and instead I found this...

MuppetFace, I think you need this guarding your headphone cache.

Ard, that's pretty cool. I need one of those for my apartment, it would keep my cats occupied.

Came across some nifty artwork while watching a video for BOC's "Black Blade": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCxL3-Fl7bM

Might inspire me to read about Elric and Stormbringer...

Seems like I'll be getting a JKSPDIF MK3 in the near-future which will be for either my primary or secondary rig depending on whether or not it can beat the Stello U3/Aqvox combo I currently have going into my NAD M51.  So yeah, that's kind of exciting!

Also waiting on a Sega Genesis flashcart I ordered.

I have been listening to this a lot lately. I haven't heard anybody wring out a simple chord progression this thoroughly in a while. Heavenly.

just got bach from a 1-2 hour practice section ): I've heard of her before somewhere. Not sure if it was via youtube (probably) or school or some place. I'll check out her playing later. Only female that I've listened and have liked so far is Midori.

Otherwise... time to complete the memorization of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAjq2fAHcfw&playnext=1&list=PL251504911E0B5386

Man that video sounded so beautiful. You can tell shes putting some serious emotion behind her music. Does she play like that on her CD's and if so can you recommend something from her? I'm in need of something different that will make me misty eyed.

What's the last thing a drummer says in a band?
"Hey, how about we try one of my songs?"

An Indian chief and a cavalry captain climb to the top of a tall hill and look out upon the entire Indian tribe.

The captain says worriedly, "I don't like the sound of those drums."

The chief says, "I know. It's not our regular drummer."

What do you call a drummer that breaks up with his girlfriend?
Homeless.

What do Ginger Baker and black coffee have in common?
They both suck without Cream.

How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five: One to screw the bulb in, and four to talk about how much better Neil Peart could've done it.

How do you get a drummer off of your porch?
Pay him 10 bucks for the pizza.

What do you call a drummer with half a brain?
Gifted.

What do you say to a drummer in a three-piece suit?
"Will the defendant please rise?"

"Hey buddy, how late does the band play?"
"Oh, about half a beat behind the drummer."

Hey, did you hear about the drummer who finished high school?
Me neither.

What did the drummer say to the band leader?
"Do you want me to play too fast or too slow?"

Deep in the African jungle, a safari was camped for the night. In the darkness, distant drums began a relentless throbbing that continued until dawn.

The safari members were disturbed, but the guide reassured them: "Drums good. When drums stop, very bad."

Every night the drumming continued, and every night the guide reiterated, "Drums good. When drums stop, VERY bad."

This continues for several days until one morning the drumming suddenly stops and all the natives panic and run screaming.

The man asks the guide what's the matter? The guide looking very frightened says: "When drums stop, VERY, VERY bad," he said.

"Why is it bad?" asked a member of the safari.

"Because when drums stop, bass solo begin!"

You guys want to discuss drummers? Ahem, have a listen to a certain type of drumming style we northern folk up in Canuckville call northern hyperblast.

LIGHT ER UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yanic Bercier is the freaking man

Everyone say hi to a couple of new buddies of mine

Meet Mr. Hudson and Mr. Bay. They were in need of a happy home so I was more then happy to give them one. I rescued them this morning from the Hudson Bay downtown store

I took the 1plus2's with me to work this morning. It was a very positive outing as far as the 1Plus2's were concerned. Surprisingly, with Comply T-500 tips they didn't isolate as well as my Heir 4A's. Hmph, maybe I was being to hard on the 4A's as far as isolation is concerned. Other qualms I thus far have with them, I wish the cable wasn't so unruly and the neck cinch would hold a little better. Sonics wise, I'm really liking these things. MuppetFace I'm surprised you haven't bought a pair for yourself yet.

1000

Speaking of the 4A's, I'm listening to them as I type this unamped through my iPhone 5 and although my handset can easily drive my CIEM's to deafening levels they don't sound anything near to the quality sound I have heard through my CLAS rig/Leckerton amp/Studio V DAP. Looks like I'm a mobile amp junkie for life
