The diary entries of a little girl in her 30s! ~ Part 2 - Page 547

There's this few songs that I just want to share, since I figured it's just perfectly embody "repetition". But the problem is it's a whole remixing culture based on a game franchise. That franchise is of course the Touhou bullethell games. Regardless of that, there's this few collection of songs based, on all things, on the monotonous unrelenting ticking of clocks. The problem to that is the videos last for 1 hour each. Not really "adding" to the playlist, but I just thought to share it:

The whole culture itself thrives on repetition, what with all the iterations based on the games OST. Well the franchise itself already has 13 or 14 main games, and the OSTs themselves are evolutions from the first of the first. Just for scale, the mega torrent collection that I know of numbers at 1.2 TB at god knows how many files.

Either as a lyrical theme, an actual structural feature of the song, or both. Be creative. It can be an interesting rhythmic pattern, lyrics about the seasons, falling into the same situations, obsessions, etc.

I'd do it myself, but I trust other people's sense of music to order it into a more enjoyable arrangement.

Speaking of repetition I spent last night watching R. Kelly's 'hip hopera' which consists of (so far) 2 hours of the same melody describing this absurd scenario of love and betrayal and midgets.

I'm actually terribly impressed by how stupidly good it is.

Oh you've never heard of trapped in the closet?! I was amazed by it the first time I watched it.

He has more chapters than in the playlist you posted.

I'm trying to find the other chapters. I've just gotta know about this package!

Before the playlist is posted I shall contribute.

Moonlight Sonata Mvt3

It is a song that repeats over and over again (of course its a sonata duh wink.gif) But I do admire Kempff for his strong musicality which is why I chose his interpretation of this song. I chose the 3rd movement because it tells us about his outlook on life in his later years, he suffered a lot during this time period which is why I love this song, it is very human.

My second song will be something shallow, a manufactured pop song from Korea. As soon as the topic was mentioned I thought of this song.

As soon as repetition was mentioned I thought of this song, the repetition of the word Gee is the only word that I understand, but it is a fun song biggrin.gif.
