The diary entries of a little girl in her 30s! ~ Part 2 - Page 522

I finally found it on YouTube although not the exact same mix I have in my collection. This is an oldie from the late 90's I think. This one just makes me bob my head and want to dance around. I picked this one as a second entry because I like the energy and the generally overly simple thoomp thoomp happy go lucky fun feeling vibe it has behind it. Second only to Suburban Train as a favorite it's one of my most played songs in my personal collection as far as trance is concerned. That being said it's not the kind of song I can play repeatedly and I find I have to be in a certain mood for me to really enjoy it.

Sorry guys, I had planned on spending some quality time getting acquainted with everyone's submissions this evening (from In C onward).  Unfortunately, I have to leave pretty early tomorrow morning, so I'm going to have to hit the sack soon.  redface.gif

BTW, and this might be too much, but should we make headphone (or sound signature) recommendations for each track?  Okay, I just realized how insane that would be.  Nevermind.

jgray91, I've added the hashtags to all of my submissions.  Mupps, I've added brief remarks to the submissions, but I'll try to flesh them out more later if I think of anything else.

I watched No Country for Old Men for the first time tonight.

It's most likely the best movie I've ever seen. The acting was superb throughout, the plot was unpredictable, and Javier Bardem was simply the most compelling and frightening villain I've seen on a screen.

I thought Heath Ledger's Joker was insane, but Javier was simply pants-schiit inducing. I think I'll be running far away from anyone who even remotely resembles this:

I think he plays a somehow similar (though different) villain in the latest James Bond. Though Skyfall is an average movie and nowhere nearly as good as No Country for Old Men, Bardem is once again an awesome villain. It is amazing how this guys can get into character. From underwear model / bullfighter in Jamon Jamon to Gay Cuban Poet Reinaldo Arenas in Before night fall...

I feel like someone should write an entire movie for Bardem, where he plays the devil. I'd pay good money to see that.

All this Flat 4 group love fest is making me want to invest in a pair. The problem is I haven't even gotten my CIEM's yet nor my Q cans nor my Paradox and I'm already buying another IEM?

What I need is a serious break from head-fi before I wind up selling my kidneys. In the bad news column, I'm going to a meet this Sunday with a HE6, Schiit statement DAC and amp, and maybe even a sennheiser HD 650, HD800 and STAX Lambda on the card. My bank account may not like this latest turn of events.

My bank account is certainly not liking my sudden interest in the Tera player. Even less liking the fact that it apparently pairs very well with my soon to be ordered SE5. Speaking of temptations, this looks good (Cavalli Audio Liquid Gold - though not heard only the best from them):
