Thanks ! I had much weirded in mind, but...

Belatedly, in my final semester in Moscow, I found out a place where I can audition basically almost everything, from the lowly Beats headphones to the venerable HD800, LCD 2 and LCD3, to the highly vaunted, praised, worshipped and yearned for TG!334.

Oh my god why.

Then I look at my bank account and now I'm in a deeper despair.

The universe is telling you where you must go.  Take a few months to audition everything you can.  Go home and clear your head.  Then come here to the US and buy everything here because it'll be cheaper.  biggrin.gif

EDIT:  BTW, the "no treble peaks" version of your avatar has been ready for like 5 days now...

Not at all, but the one you found is blocked in Europe for the exact same reasons, lol. tongue.gif

Here's my entry for the Diary Thread Mixtape #1:

"Cenotaph" by This Heat

The theme of repetition is pervasive throughout This Heat's discography, as they experimented heavily with rhythm and deconstructed musical arrangements. In this instance, the theme enters into the lyrics themselves for a song about remembrance and the notion of cyclical history. It's the "war to end all wars." Until the next one. Remember the dead, but forget why they ended up that way.

Remember, poppies are red. And the fields are filled with poppies.

Incidentally, I absolutely adore the shift @ 2:21.

"And when the lights go on again all over the world...."

jgray, you might as well put both and let the Greenwich Meridian determine who sees which one.

Never heard of This Heat before, but yeah I like the shift as well.  This should be nice interlude leading into what Ard, A_rec, Coq, etc. come up with.

Confession time:  Monchichi scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.  I went through a phase when I was interested in animals (primarily extinct ones).  And the fact that my 6-year old brain couldn't zoologically classify them was very disconcerting.  Not until the Burger King King of today have I been so unsettled in terms of non-existent things.

EDIT:  BTW, the Burger King King is hellspawn I'm telling you.  I can't quite put my finger on it, but when I do it might be too late.  So seriously, if you see that guy, just kick him in the nuggets and run.  Better safe than sorry.  And oh yeah, his Duracell-powered relatives are pretty damn unholy too.

Agreed....if I saw that guy outside my house, well, I don't have a gun....(sheesh, what kind of American am I? lol) but, I do still have an aluminium baseball bat.....so the King is going down! very_evil_smiley.gif
