Yes just recently.

I think she meant that you got tricked by somebody's avatar, as Muppet didn't say anything about Sheena Easton. Go back a page, and you'll find that post, belonging to Vuroth. You got TMAC'd.

Edit: MF's new avatar is a creepy looking Tyll Hertsens with pink hair.

dammit i forgot! Another mission accomplished by the TMAC.

Yeah I guess you're right. I've had stuff delayed and stuff sent two provinces over but with the exception of a bad CLAS interconnect I've yet to receive a defective piece of gear. poor Romy has had some major bad luck with ultra expensive gear.

I haven't been keeping close tabs on the Flat 4 since it was originally released. Which one of the Flat4's are you guys raving about? On MusicaAcoustics I'm seeing the SUI at just under 500 bones and the Maple at nearly 1000 bones. I've seen you guys mention the SUI's a few times but I don't recall anyone talking about the Maple. Has anyone tried the Maple out yet and can they comment if it's worth the premium? Looking at the pictures the first thing that pops into my mind is the build quality looks as dismal as ever and that bar on top still looks painful. Are you guys wearing your Flat4's hanging down or over ear?

We shall we shall! Silver Dragon Jasmine! I've been so lazy over the years about this destination - been right down the street a many of time. You know how it works, the moment you lose the opportunity to do something that you yourself put off...ph34r.gif. I should get a custom CalTrans sign made "Compensation Ahead." biggrin.gif

Do you happen to have access to CalTrans branded stuff?  It is REMARKABLY effective at warding off moving violation citations.

We should go for a pot.  The cups aren't nearly as good a value.  BTW, I don't think they put silver dragons in the tea... in much the same way that the dragon penises in Chinese pharmacies aren't actually dragon penises... because dragons like don't really exist.  Still, gotta admire their pluck in completely jumping past any need to establish the premise.

When we go, I'd love to show you Diana Dee's (which is only a few blocks away).  That was where I re-discovered pen-fi after years of rebelling against it in my youth.  For a while, I went a bit crazy with the wax seals.  Then I moved over to stone carvings of my Chinese name.  I just did it for fun, but I must admit that they've come in handy for signing contracts with Chinese companies once or twice.

I think Tangster might have one in one of his pockets somewhere... but I don't know if he'll be able to look for it atm as he's busy with a Peter Pan costume.  I could rummage around for one tomorrow.

You know, it's a bit disturbing how what I just said makes perfect sense to me... but would probably scare off a lot of lurkers.  biggrin.gif

Cop the SUIs DF, they are flippin amazing. Romy's probably so sick of having to answer to the call of SUI vs. KAEDE ha. She's mentioned that it's not worth it (KAEDE) unless you enjoy the uber nice presentation of having your phones cradled inside of an heirloom quality wooden box and having your phones encased in a perfectly cured maple housing. She found the price difference went towards said premium materials/build quality rather than some tangible leap in SQ

I know several people have mentioned this already, but MF March really is confusing. I can't keep track of who wrote what at all... too many TMAC folks on here lol

Well I won't lie I'm tempted. On Price Japan I can score a pair of SUI's for 448 bones Canadian shipped. The only thing that's turning me off right now is their build quality. Whoever heard of a 400 plus bone IEM with no visible strain relief where the cable enters the IEM housing? Do you wear your pair over ear and if so is it a pain in the arse to get them seated in your ears properly and are they pretty comfortable?

The CLAS is kicking my arse again. I threw on the CD The Mantle by Agolloch and I've never heard the song The Hawthorne Passage sound as good as the CLAS/UHA-6S MKII is able to do it. I so have to up the anty and get a top tier amp and can and really see what this biotch can throw at me.

You can wear them over ear but I feel it offsets the sound. The bass is positioned higher than it should IMO with the drivers upside down. So in that these IEMs are very precise in its presentation. I do find them more comfy over the ears though which is a shame. Still I like the sound enough to tolerate the fit. If they could work on the comfort of these IEMs they are deadly. Seriously. I consider them the best pure dynamic driver IEM I've heard yet (although it is very different in its design and of course the use of dual drivers).

I dunno I rarely get along with IEM's that I'm forced to wear down. It's still tempting to hear for myself what you guys are raving about though.
