I totally want to dye my hair pink one day. Grimes or Christine Love style, make it look all kinds of weird.

Sorry, I should have said fuchsia specifically, as that better matches the current avatar. There's quite a wide range of pinks! It would be fun seeing different stuff get the fuchsia + glasses treatment. Especially if people insist on using actual muppets.

Kind of reminds me of Eric Andre's "what if it was purple?" game.

But yeah, feel free to shop whatever stuff you want onto the avatar itself too.

By the way, a head-fi buddy of mine posted a shot of his black Liquid Glass:

You can't see it well in this shot, but the logo and nomenclature are engraved onto the front panel.

I won an auction today for a collection of 12SN7GT tubes, which came out to be about $4 a tube.

Here we go!

BTW, for anyone that would otherwise have not participated in TMAC before, but who would like to pay homage to Mupps this month, feel free to join in!  smile.gif

Now I just have to decide which avatar I'm gonna sport...

I'm quite tempted to use a picture of Tyll and "muppetface" him. That's right, I'm also using your name as a verb. tongue.gif

Funny!  I was just thinking of doing the same with Jude!

Funny, there is a new DBZ OAV. They apparently will be fighting the god of destruction and his pet giant rat / bunny

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Oh I just thought it was poorly written, with its grating melodrama, obnoxious chanspeak dialogue, tryhard use of metafiction, and its attempt at dissecting the relevance of privacy in the digital age was just nonsensical. Especially when the students' blank reaction to Rooks' voyeurism rendered the whole morality issue moot. Oh, and the game was manipulative in achieving this ludonarrative revelation, especially given that it's a game that has no real world consequences and shunts the player onto a singular path to progression with little to do along the way other than click every flashing icon. Is Love trying to tell me that infringing upon other's privacy is a bad thing? Is she using this game as some sort of moral litmus test? It's akin to stating that those who play violent games in turn are likely to take out their psychotic aggression on the world. Doesn't add up. Finally, the hilariously butt ugly animu artstyle offended my senses, oh, and I wanted to punch everyone in the face :/

FWIW, I also thought Digital was overrated, but when there is such a dearth of well written fiction in gaming, I guess anything half competent becomes lauded. It was interesting and refreshing for a Renpy VN I guess. I haven't played Analog yet, but I hope Love was just hamstrung by the limitations of NANIWRIMO when penning "Don't take it personally", and that Analog fared better
