Aww thankee.

You know what is creepy? Youtube gives you granular analytics data such that you not only know how many people are watching your videos, it also tells you at what point people STOP watching your videos. So you can actually have a graph of which bits are more or less interesting to people, or how many people immediately stop watching your video because they are like BLUERGH HIPSTER HAIR.

I am trying to work on making the videos more concise. I just made a 5/6 minute XB800 video but honestly that's because there wasn't much to say about them.

On the subject of hair, I think I might try something along these lines this summer....

I was going to say that reminded me of La Roux. But that is actually La Roux right?

I want those shoes.

Um, wut?  Not disagreeing or anything, just wondering where that came from all of a sudden.

Well TBH, I haven't read anyone else's impressions yet.  I knew that I'd be hearing it at the meet, so I made an effort to not have my expectations tainted beforehand.  And now that I've heard it, I almost don't want to go back to that Explorer thread for fear that someone will talk me out of getting it.  I want so much to recapture what I heard at the meet, even if it means staying a little ignorant of contrasting impressions for just a little longer.  Basically, I kinda want to keep the blast shield down and use the Force a little longer.

Makes you wonder if the guy's idea of generating a report was to just copy and paste from a screen output of that table, and then email that out to the sales team.  biggrin.gif

Well, we should account for the possibility of some gear just being not very good.  Or maybe it's just a really bad case of early adopter syndrome.

It ain't over until it's over.  Sorry about that, mea culpa.  frown.gif  I made the mistake of making an innocent joke WHERE the subject of the joke was a rather ubiquitous forum member.  Still, no permission has been obtained, and final votes have yet to be cast.

Dammit, you're making me want to hear something I never knew existed.

Hmm. Direct parallel import. Good price on the AD900X and AD2000x as well, though this AD1000x price really stands out to me.

I'm torn because I want to be able to get the AD900X to compare with the MA900 and I like the single entry cable, but I want to recapture the glory of the AD2000 when I had it for a bit...
get both wink.gif

Actually, the other day I went to get a bit of a hair cut. I had the strange role reversal of feeling out of place at the salon because I wasn't asking for a haircut that was out there enough (as opposed to the opposite situation) but they were real nice and didn't really skip a beat when I told them my long term goal was to essentially have a girls haircut and length of hair lol.

Ooo. Nice goal. I had that once, but i ended up becoming too lazy to deal with it in my eyes all the time. And of course there were some hurtful comments thrown out towards me, but meh, i. Could have cared less. Are you going for a shoulder length?

You seem pretty much at ease. And you look more like your avatar than I would have guessed.

Knob Feel has become my go-to reference for audio equipment. They use the only parameter that matters: How it feels to turn the knob.

much like a stone skipping along the surface of the water, i light upon this thread each day, and scan it for interesting bits.

(long time listener, first time caller, as they'd say on talk radio)

sometimes, like today, the unread post count can be pretty obnoxious.  LOL.

i miss more than one day, and it's like in the 250+ range.  ha!

but, well, it is usually a source of entertainment for me.

heck, i'm 36, and i know exactly zilch about anime, portable audio gear, gaming, or numerous other diary topics, but...  well, you know, i don't want to lose touch with what the cool kids are talking about...  biggrin.gif

Welcome stranger! I don't mean any offense by this but in Australia 'wuss' means someone who is a bit of a coward lol. What's the story behind the name? :3
