I'm not trying to undermine the efforts of those that fought for equality, but as much that there are fkers that want to preserve the inequality status quo, there also those on the other side that want inequality but with reverse roles. Malaysia is pretty unequal in a lot of things though, and the ones that I see fighting against that are usually the kind if people that I described. Maybe I'm just distrustful because of that.
I've always been fascinated by air disasters, even before I studied in some related aviation studies. But the MH370 tragedy certainly hits the closest for obvious reasons. And as far as I know, this is the weirdest disaster that I've read about/followed. A 777 shouldn't just disappear off the skies unless the worst happened.

There is precedent for a modern airliner dropping out of the sky with no warning.

Two guys with stolen passports and one way tickets onboard...sounds like terrorism of some sort to me.

It seems like it. Hopefully not, but it's hard to see otherwise (unless I'm missing something, and probably did, since I don't really follow what happened on a near real time basis).

Also, now I see the ridiculousness of conspiracy theorists first hand: they are my friends. God dammit.

Dungeons, dragons, kings and queens...

...stoked, ladies and gentlemen?

I thought this was an interesting article (about a study):

http://www.theverge.com/2014/3/6/5477622/bad-brains-some-people-incapable-of-enjoying-music

One of my friends is really not into music. I've always secretly suspected he was some kind of sociopath and this study confirms he is a monster.

But seriously, it honestly disturbs me when I meet someone who does not like *any* kind of music. But then there is the other situation - when people enjoy things that I don't really understand as music. And I don't mean that sarcastically, I mean that when people listen to some stuff that sound to me more like soundscapes or drone music that I don't really 'get'.

Holy smokes!  Audeze just contributed an LCD-2 to our SoCal meet raffle.  This is on top of the Grado PS1000 that the LAOCAS will be raffling off at the meet.  I am beside myself with giddyness right now.   Silent, get off that fence already!

I would have came if only 5 people were there. With how amazing it's shaping up to be, I can't imagine any Californians missing this one.

I'm not so sure. I read an article that talked about SE Asia being a hotbed of stolen passports to Western countries. Not for terrorism, but rather for illegal immigration and smuggling.
