The diary entries of a little girl in her 30s! ~ Part 2 - Page 1391

My cat will be 15 this year, just developed hyperthyroidism and a skin condition that may or may not be related to the thyroid. She's on prescription food that I have to hide from the dog. All these pics remind me of a time when she was younger, healthier and more spry. She's a good friend and graciously puts up with our 3 year old.

I'm curious why you felt the need to emotionally ruin the rest of my Sunday evening.

I hope she gets better.

A momentary weak moment on my part. I generally do not share personal stuff on the internets.

Thanks! If she'll just eat the food regularly.

X2

My dog eats all out neighbors cat food whenever they leave their doors open. They graciously haven't "taken care of him" yet.

I luv cats. Take good care of her in her old age. I'm glad to see she cares about all of you as much as you care about her,...

I will!

She's been so.. I don't know, natural at all this. It took her maybe an hour to look around our appartment, but after that she's playing (a lot) and cuddling and snuggling (a lot) as well. Also, I think she wanted to clean my beard for a few minutes, but I'm calling it that she kissed me for a few minutes. My lips and skin were a bit sore afterwards, but it was worth it. :)

She's really settled in fine to living with us. Seems like a brave and healthy kitten, so to say. Very playful. Very adorable.

Here's my old tortoiseshell that my ex-girlfriend got custody of after the divorce:

Hey, let's not go down that route here. We're better than that, right? :)

What a nice looking cat. Although I have to say, I don't know if she's looking at me nicely or if she thinks I'm the prey.

No, she's pretty loving. Coincidence is that my new lady friend had a tortoiseshell too! This one fell in love with me instantly.

All this talk of cats reminded me that I have to finish reading Kafka on the shore at some point.

Excellent book....but 1Q84 is easier to get into. Kafka is more eerie and dreamlike.

Well compared to other books I've read so far, it certainly is a bit hard to follow if you've left off for too long, but 1q84 is on my list. And I'm getting that one edition of 1984 with the reflective black title on matte black background. And read it for the first time!!

What's 1q84? Sounds like a chromosomal position...
