^ Man, why does this exist, and what right does it have tasting so decent? As per my posting schtick lately, I tested one of those against the original flavor, long known for being some ******* swill -- someone asked me what Steel Reserve was in a text earlier and I asked if she had ever played Papo & Yo. She hadn't, but if she had I would have just said "each can of Steel Reserve is one of those frogs..."* Don't let the alcohol content fool you; ****'s like gravity (hence the name "high gravity lager") -- powerful, but poorly understood.
Has anyone in this thread played Metal Gear: Revengeance? I bought it on Steam lately against my better judgement and I seriously don't get it on a fundamental level. I feel like Lisa in that one tap dancing episode of the Simpsons -- the game gives me no real idea how to counter, but assumes the timings are intuitive. I swear to god I'm usually good at games like this. I've never had such problems with GOD HAND, Devil May Cry, or Ninja Gaiden...
The writing's pretty bad too. Not sure what to think of the music. I guess it's kind of funny. Either way I wish Konami had had more say in this than Platinum. I don't think Platinum has been that worthwhile since they were Clover. If I had to guess as to why that would be, I'd say someone at Capcom's core team was probably ensuring some level of quality be kept intact, like how Silicon Knights only made good games while under strict watch of Nintendo.
* I was at a friend's house one time when he drank a 40 of Steel Reserve. He just sort of zoned out for awhile and then smashed the bottle on the floor. His girlfriend was all "***, WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING!?" and he just said, "...I don't know" and stumbled off to bed. It's kind of like that.
I had a dream last night wherein I was some sort of tour manager for Tim and Eric. I kept sticking them in orchestral halls even though the deer skull headed people I vaguely remember from Time Bandits told me not to. Later on Tim asked to speak with me in my favorite childhood playground and asked if I knew why their audience was never happy. I gave him an apple with an earthworm in it and he started tripping as though he were on shrooms. I think I woke up after that.
Iuno, actually having trouble remembering this one. I guess that's sort of fortunate since I don't have it in me to make a longer post atm.
