Thanks but you really don't want to do that. Customs does not like any sort of tobacco products being shipped in from overseas because the govt doesn't like the idea of having their tax cow threatened. Did I mention there's a 30% govt tax on all tobacco products here. That's why I went with the e cigarettes, they're not considered a tobacco product by Health Canada yet and as such it's a grey area as far as customs is concerned. The federal govt has been trying to ban the import of e cigarettes with nicotine cartridges sighting health concerns with mixed results but they can't ban the distribution of the nicotine cartridges if they're made in Canada. That's why i ordered from the site I did, They're supposed to ship from within Canada. We'll see if that's true.
By the way, we call chew and snus by the same name up here. Don't ask me why people just do. Some people call snus European chew and others call it Swedish chew. Most just call it chew. (shrugs) I know it's pretty dumb.
I don't know, the few times I tried Skoal peppermint snus it wasn't to bad. The only bad effect I experienced was it seemed to effect my taste buds even more then smoking, Food was almost tasteless if I had recently used snus. If I ate 2 or 3 hours after using snus it wasn't to bad though.
Bummer. Oh well, I think e-cigs can be pretty successful.
Personally, when I quit smoking the first time (or to be precise, I held up for two years) I just did it cold turkey. It was hell for the first few days but then it just wasn't all that bad. Once you get over those few days (or a week, depending on how addicted you are I suppose) of misery, it's pretty much all downhill from there. Anyway, if you really wish to quit smoking, I salute you and wish you luck.
The mind is such a powerful organ. I think that if you really believe in hypnosis, or are open minded, it could work. I'm not an expert on the subject at all, but I think it should probably be associated with strengthening the will power and positive reinforcement rather than those hypnosis shows on TV where they get their participants to bark like dogs etc. I'm a little skeptic when it comes to those things, but if it's like I imagine it to be, then I could definitely see it work.
