Evidently people are making bread with ice cream. A friend of mine sent me that link yesterday. He wants to raid the freezer case at Meijer and try out a dozen different varieties to see which ones come out the best.

Now, I'm curious...

Luckily I've never been the biggest fan of coffee. I know people who go nuts without their caffeine.... But when I do drink it's usually some sort of ice-coffee concoction. We've been making our own at home though in a blender. Adding vanilla ice-cream, milk, ice and cappuccino or mocha mix. Really good but not something I'd drink often.

That sounds quite tasty.

I'm not really a huge fan of coffee, either. I like the flavor in moderation, but not as the main attraction. There are a few of the seasonal blends that I've liked (heavy on the cinnamon and spice), but even then, only when diluted with copious amounts of milk, half-and-half, and sugar. Actually, it would be more appropriate to call what I drink coffee-flavored milk.

Go Raw or go home! No, really... if one is sourcing Farmer John or Jane. ksc75smile.gif

Anybody ever tried the Kashi GOLEAN line of cereals? There's a surprising amount of soy in the flagship entry (considering the overwhelming majority of cereals have none). It's probably the highest concentration of soy I've eaten in recent times. I just don't come across soy that often, which is a shame since I actually don't mind it at all. It lends a nice texture to stir frys and fried rice and in this capacity serves as a good substitute for fried egg, if you like to use that as an ingredient.

The last ten years that I drank, I didn't have a single hangover....and I always laughed at the rookies at work that came in hungover.

And here I am now, almost 6 years since I've had a drink......nobody back then would have ever guessed it possible.

The thing is, is that soy a protein extract of soy? To my understanding it is the processing of soy that causes the actual problems. Kinda like with most of our food. redface.gif

Do any of you like Li-hing Mui?

I can dig that.

Here's a thought, you take a mars bar and wrap a mess of bacon around it until you have something the size of a cue ball. From there you pour on some thick melted mozzarella cheese and then wrap some more bacon around it and then you deep fry it. From there you let sit for 15 minutes and garnish it with some chocolate fudge and top off the fudge with some whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkles.

So what do you guys think, coronary city inside of a week maybe???

On the other hand, you could toss out the above recipe and just have what I had cafe side this past Sunday at Tea Story with some green Jasmine tea.
