Contrast this with the liability and lost revenue which result from poisoning your regular customers.

When I say "you'd think that..." what I really mean is that these companies employ people with degrees in food science who study and account for potentially harmful health interactions. Not to mention the FDA.

Sure you could find the odd mom & pop outfit who hand milk their soys for the freshest poison on the market. That's why it might make more sense to go for products put out by a large evil conglomerate which can afford the costs of proper preparation. Many of them will even slap on an "organic" label so that customers can enjoy that feeling of smug superiority about their purchasing decisions, but I digress... very_evil_smiley.gif

Agreed - but it unfortunately works only for alcoholized condition - you would never want to listen to such recordings yourself sober, let alone allow other sober persons to get hold of it. It is only win-win only till you get alco out of your system - then you instantly realize it was more or less complete waste of time.

Today, I'm cafe side @ SBUX with the notebook pc. The DL speeds are pedestrian. McDoo is faster with fewer dropouts. But Mickey doesn't have anything I want to eat. Not much of a cafe drinker either - but the franchise and HotSpots the Mermaid has are rolleyes.gif ubiquitous!

My cafe hopping would really be enhanced if I went "Portable." I'm sure this thread could send me on my way in a hurry! And expose a dark side. I would lie awake at night counting Opportunity Costs at the foot of my bed. ph34r.gif

Because display pics don't get people banned?

Might be time to do that anyway... just from an expanding horizons standpoint?

This is more what I meant but on a general level, implying that someone should have thought something through, or something along those lines depending on the situation.

It's a situation that's often surprising and says I should have known at the same time, often preceded by a quick audible exhalation while shaking your head.

Ladies & gents, I haven't even attempted to read all this stuff yet. Im'a just surfing the interwebs today via my Sammy Galaxy Tab 2 and relaxing. I'm also grateful that I don't drink soy milk, with the the estrogen/testosterone issues it can create. Especially in males,... I'd look funny with bosoms,...

I don't know how many of you guys watch Arrested Development, but that show embodies that situation in a humorous way.

Of the few episodes I've seen it definitely had that vibe.

And imho the comedic extension of that is "You would think that..."

That sounds amazing! I will stock my mansion full of this wonder food Howard Hughes style...

I think we are probably approaching the point where nothing productive will come out of further discussion, but tofu and edamame beans are not fermented and are not modern innovations. I think we can agree that large chronic consumption of almost anything is harmful.

I think it's the best yet. I blazed through the first 8, now I'm pacing myself because I don't want it to end too soon. I'm watching one ep every 2 weeks so I can savor it.
